*Does not take one star reviews well * After writing this review i received a message on Facebook, they are upset I left a "damaging " review stated they would have preferred a " constructive conversation in person or on phone , and will be replying public to review " A private response before your " public response " was very unnecessary considering the message was not concerning the issue in store but the review , that was the biggest concern. ** called in following morning as suggested to speak with owner , i was informed they are not in and no guarantee when or if they will be in , and to try again at 12 . Even though staff previous day told me to call the following morning . Prices use to be great along with the quality of clothes, the last time i went in along with my visit today i have noticed the prices go up and the quality of clothing down . A lot of very faded , stained, worn out peices , some Walmart brands more expensive than name nike ect.. i use to pay 5$ for nike sweaters there , now hard to find any under $10 ! Also i had messaged regarding specific style / size of Halloween costumes when i arrived the shelves were empty, i seen a few on a rack behind the cash and was told i cannot buy because they are being saved for next year's inventory. I'm not sure if that's to avoid the current 50% off costumes as they were good quality. Also there were 4 employees behind counter chatting, the clothing in 2t- 5t is unorganized and hard to find sizes as alot of the sizing signs are missing or not clearly visible, and dust bunny's the size of tennis balls under the clothing .

Good place to buy, terrible to sell. Honestly, don't waste your time selling your items at this place. Brought in 4 halloween costumes in absolutely perfect condition. They offered $7 for all of them (less than $2 per costume)... one being a transformers costume that currently sells at Party City for $49. Nice people, and great place to buy, but I'd rather donate to those in need versus the pennies they offer.

Pretty disappointed in this place, my mother and I have been loyal costumers for years. Unfortunately today, we were shopping for a couple things when we saw a lady not wearing a mask. We told staff who then went to call the manager who said, there was not bien she could do about it (which is false). There were mothers in there with newborn babies, if anybody should understand how kids are so vulnerable to covid, you think a children’s place would. The lady was touching everything around and so were her kids. We asked staff why this was aloud and the response was, I’m sorry you feel that way. This is not a feeling, it’s the law. Since no one was doing anything about it, we told the lady she should be wearing a mask. She did not have an exemption, just simply said that she’s a human snd needs to breathe. After exchanging words, we checked out and left. We then saw a post on their Facebook post on how we screamed at staff and this behaviour is not tolerated. Funny how the lady coming in without the mask and putting others at risk doesn’t get any backlash but the people who respect the rules do. We commented on the post with the by-law rules with mask wearing and letting them know that we did not scream at staff but that nothing was done about the situation. Not surprising.. our comments were deleted and we were blocked. Shows a lot about management that they wouldn’t bother talking about the issues. All this to say, they do not follow Covid protocols and the store in unsafe. Will not be shopping there anymore, they obviously don’t care about the health of their costumers.

Very good selection of baby clothes. I was even able to find Preemie size for our very small baby, this is the only place I've found this size used. Staff was very friendly and helpful and prices are really good, I'd even say it's better priced than Value Village and feels much more rewarding as they are not making money off of donations. It was for sure worth the drive from Barrhaven. I will be back when my baby is born and will always recommend this to my mommy friends ❤️.

Awful place to sell your stuff. I live 2 hours away. Brought in 2 big Rubbermaid containers plus 2 bags of name brand, next to new condition stuff and they paid me $47! They gave me less than $1 a piece. It cost that in gas just to drive there. ALL of the clothing was in perfect condition.NO holes or discoloration as they claim. Plus they didn't even fold back the clothing they didn't want. Just stuffed it all back in the bins I brought, all messely. I will never ever sell to them again. Complete waste of time.

It was mine and my Boyfriends first time ever going here yesterday. We brought clothes to sell and buy some new clothes. We live about 40 mins away, and when we went up to pay with store credit all was good and we were good to go. It took them 40 mins to call us after we left saying that we didn’t pick up our bin before leaving and needed to pick it up today. Being 40 mins away with the price of gas it is and having a 2 month old it hard to just switch your day to pick up a bin that you were never asked to take. So I got there today and I said to the lady “can I ask why we were never told to take it when we were leaving” and she said “who was dealing with you because we normally leave the bins at the front” and I said “I didn’t know her name but it was our first time here and we don’t live close” and all I got as a response was a very monotone “sorry about that”. So just warning all you moms out there if you haven’t been here before to please make sure you ask for your bins back before they call you asking you to pick it up. What doesn’t make sense to me is why they waited 40 minutes after we left to call us and tell us we left our bins knowing it was our very first time going here. Not very impressed.

Few weeks ago, we bought a child safety gate (Easy-Close Metal gate) from this store and we figured that all parts were in the box. Few days after we bought it, we opened the box to check it to find out that it was missing the center part of the gate, which is the master piece of that gate. We went back to the store and explained the problem. The staff who served us said that they can only give a store credit, not full refund which was fine with us as we didn’t have the store receipt, but only my credit card statement to prove that we bought this article at your store. However, after the staff double checked with the owner of the store, things changed drastically and a store credit was no longer an option even if the store selling tag was still on the box and we had proof that we bought it at her store. The store owner started with a foolish story about a transaction code on the original receipt that she needed in order to give us a refund or a store credit. I was trying to tell her that by not accepting to give us at least a store credit, we would certainly lose the 50.85$ it cost for the gate, but she would lose more than 50.85$ as we would not return to her store as well as our 2 daughters, friends and family members to whom we recommended that store. While I was talking to the store staff and the owner, my wife was walking through the store and picked up a few things for our grandchildren. When she joined me at the main counter, I told her that the owner was refusing to take the gate back and that she refused to give us credit. My wife dropped what she had picked up in the store, we took back the gate and left. In my opinion, this store owner has poorly managed this situation and in the long run, she will lose much more than the 50.85$ we lost. In the last 2 years, we have spent several hundreds of dollars in that store and considering that we were buying used articles, we were quite content as everything was functioning fairly well and met the purpose of what we bought them for. If we would have to quote them on this we would quote them close to 4 out of 5. However, with the poor decision making and lack of customer satisfaction by the owner during our last visit, my review is reflecting no more than a 1.

I love this place! We are first time parents. Due March 19! We needed some last minute clothing items. I got pants for $1 and sleepers super cheap as well. There’s amazing selection of everything you will need. I could spend hours in this store! Will definitely be going here for all of my babies needs in the future.
