I always feel welcome whenever I go in for an adjustment. The care provided is top notch, it has helped improve my overall health, and has also helped eliminate the headaches I was getting daily. I very rarely have any headaches anymore. Thank you New Freedom Chiropractic!

I am so happy to have found a team I can trust my health with at New Freedom Chiropractic. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a friendly reception. I treat at New Freedom both for chiropractic and naturopathic care and am so happy with the treatment I receive. The doctors at New Freedom are knowledgeable, easily accessible, and friendly. My clinic experiences make me feel quite at home and I always look forward to going in for treatments. Dr. Bell, my naturopathic doctor, astonished me with her in-depth understanding of the human body's systems and functions and was able to easily target my health concerns and explain the potential causes to me. I actually felt like a student learning from a teacher as opposed to doctor-patient because she was really able to explain the human body to me in order to ensure that I understand any health concerns. Similarly, Dr. Pervez, my chiropractor, is incredibly knowledgeable and is always able to suggest best practices or exercises that I can do in order to assist in maintaining the health of my spine. I was very amazed at the importance of spinal health and how it impacts other organs of the body, which was outlined to me in my initial appointment. If an excellent doctor is not the deciding factor for you to book with New Freedom then I must add that Dr. Pervez has quite the sense of humour and a very kind heart. If you want to feel like your doctor truly cares about your well-being then this is the clinic for you. This clinic is a little gem in Orleans. Go check it out!

The staff at New Freedom are great. The women at the front are wonderful with tailoring my treatment schedule around my hectic work schedule, and always with a smile. Dr.Omar Pervez is my chiropractor, and he is just simply fantastic. He takes the time to thoroughly explain my treatment plans, why certain stretches/excercises are necessary, and is great at helping me understand the physiological affects of my misaligned spinal anatomy. His constant positive attitude is a wonderful way to approach chronic pain patients... He also was the first doctor to believe that I was in pain. Dr. Covey has adjusted me as well, when Dr. Omar was not available. Thorough and on-point. I’m very grateful for the crucial part that everybody at New Freedom has helped play in my recovery and healing. Highly recommend New Freedom. 5 stars!

My wife went after seeing the Facebook ad for $21 X-ray +first treatment. When she came home she had this paper and highlighted was she had to attend this consultation with her spouse to discuss her health. When we arrived there was 4 other people also attending. It lasted 2.5 hours was a mix between Chiropractic information and religious sermon. Being an Atheist I was not impressed but still kept an open mind as this was for my wife's health. After the long sermon he took everyone individually to speak about their case. This is where I was NOT impressed. 1st: He explains the details and give this total cost plan around $4000.00 that makes you feel you have to sign up for. He also informs you that it's done on a bi-weekly automatic withdrawal plan "like a mortgage". 2nd: He then tells me I can sign up as well... Really?? I'm here for my wife.. not me... So now I get why you want the spouse's to come along.. Its a sale tactic. My wife agrees to take the first treatment that during his speech said takes about 15 minutes.. She was out in less 2 minutes. When we got to the front I was helping our children get dress and my wife said the secretary made her pay $190 for her next 4 sessions and told her not to forget her Void bank cheque when she comes back in 2 days. I was upset and asked why can't she pay per visit? Her reason was oh well because of Covid it's just safer that we reduce the contact on the pin machine?? Really?? Lysol does exist and I call BS on that because they had no concern having 5 strangers in 1 room for his sermon. When I got home I called and cancelled everything and demanded a full refund. I said I was coming to get the following day. The refund was provided no questions asked. That I am thankful for. I'm not sure how good of a Chiropractic he is that is why I left 2 stars. Regardless we did not feel comfortable moving forward. The information session "sales session", religious sermon and pressure to sign up for pre-authorized withdrawal is what killed it for me. I see some comments saying you have have hands of God for treatment that might be true, however you are also blessed with the power of sales manipulation and that is what killed it for us.

The staff is extremely pleasant and I always leave with a smile on my face. They are always flexible in terms of working out with schedule and changes of time. I like that I receive reminders both e-mail and on the phone. Great financial plan in place that helps me get the best care I need without feeling worried. I am now at once a week in my chiropractic adjustments and so the travelling time is not a big deal. I am very pleased with the results and will continue my care with New Freedom Chiropractor.

ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL WHEN IT COMES TO PATIENT CARE AND LACK OF ETHNIC DIVERSITY I was a patient at New Freedom Chiropractic (NFC) a few years ago. Although it has been a while, the experience was so very negative that whenever I pass in front of the establishment, I feel nauseated. This is what happened this evening, so I am hoping that writing this review brings me some relief. Prior to attending New Freedom Chiropractic, I had been to chiropractors in other cities. They LISTENED to me. I chose NFC because at the time, Dr. Covey had a radio show, and I figured that he must be knowledgeable and one of the best, if he is on the radio. After all, he seemed to know what he was talking about. I went to NFC and found it REALLY odd that I had to attend an info/indoctrination session about chiropractic care in order to get treatment. But, I went because I wanted help and thought he was the best in town-after all, he was on the radio. At the info session, participants were instructed not to speak to Dr. Covey when he was performing treatment in the room so as not to disturb him. I found that odd, but just ignored it. Following the info session, I was told to wait in a room. Other participants waited in individual rooms and it was assembly line treatment. He visited me for about 5 minutes, asked what I thought about the cookie cutter treatment plan, which consists of a few weeks of neck treatment followed by spinal treatment, etc...When I told him I agreed, I could see how his eyes lit up. I really felt like he was so excited to be getting more $$$. I went for about 2 weeks but did not feel comfortable with neck adjustments. It's risky for some people as it can result in stroke if it dislodges a blood clot. Other chiropractors I had previously gone to had agreed not to adjust my neck because they respected my wishes. I would have a good 15-20 minutes of back adjustments only and leave feeling refreshed. Furthermore, after driving all the way to NFC, and spending my $$$, he would see me for no more than 3 minutes, do a quick neck adjustment and then leave the room. It was like-forget the whole body, lets just get your money and do the neck. Meanwhile, I needed relief in my back. This cookie-cutter assembly line approach as far as I am concerned was a money grab. It was not patient-specific but rather, one size fits all. I was so glad when I ended the sessions.\ A GOOD chiropractor LISTENS to their patients and SPENDS TIME with them. We are all individual and unique. A one size fits all approach does not work for chiropractic care. LACK OF RACIAL/ETHNIC DIVERSITY. *****Lastly, when you visit his office, you will not see any type of ethnic diversity (I would be surprised if things have changed). Check out the big image outside the office window, check out the website...no ethnic diversity. Only Caucasians in the images. Also very disturbing, he attended Bob Jones University, one of the the most RACIST universities in the USA. Google them and you will see how they treated Black people over the years. Not continuing with NFC was the BEST decision I could have made. Don't be fooled- a good chiropractor will LISTEN and SPEND TIME with their patients.

Arrive in the office for my appointment and there are anti covid vaccination videos playing on a loop. Sad to see this is the messaging Going out in a waiting room of mostly vulnerable elderly people. Dr. David enters the room and asks me if I would like him to wear a mask, naturally I said yes. For a clinic so focused on preventive care I'm saddened to see that the practice takes a stand against the most successful public health prevention: vaccination. Never going back. Stay safe all.
