B	Bruce Barnett on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took a bike here in the summer to be serviced because they were the only bike shop that had any service availability. The experience was terrible. Poor communication, lies, rudeness, opening half an hour after posted opening times while four bike owners waited, and ultimately after $300 the bike wasn't repaired. All of this and I was dealing with the store owner! Can't imagine that business will last. I will never return to that store and recommend other bike owners to consider some of these negative reviews before trusting this shop.
J	Jess Barnett on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIKE HERE! This is hands down the worst bike shop in probably Vancouver - maybe the lower mainland. If I could give zero stars I would. I understand that these are challenging times, but the horrible customer service I have received - in addition to the TERRIBLE work is absolutely inexcusable. I took a bike in to get a tune up and new tires on June 30th. They promised me the bike back on the 6th. I told them I was going away so it wasn't necessary to have it done until Tuesday (giving them an extra day to service it). They said they would give me a call when it was done...they NEVER called. I had to call numerous times - actually went into the store and it wasn't done. I finally got the bike on Wednesday. Tried to go for a ride on Thursday and couldn't because the back tire was flat. Took the bike back in and they repaired the flat. Tried to go out for a ride Sunday night and the front tire blew, not even 5 ft away from my house. Keeping in mind, I paid $200 to have my bike fixed. Went to take the bike back in today as they are closed on Monday...but they were not open. Despite their hours saying they are open. I guess they work when they feel like it. Absolutely appalled by this kind of service. Do not bring your bike here. It is a waste of your time and your money. UPDATE: Instead of using their reviews for feedback on how to do better or rectify poor service, they use them as a way to threaten their customers. They actually blamed us for tampering with the front tire and claimed it was our fault that it went flat. (They were the only ones who touched the front tire as it was just replaced by their staff). Now we know why they were the only shop with servicing availability....
k	kilkay44 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EDIT: Bike shop offered me a refund on everthing but parts. Manager was very nice and apologetic. Didn't try to make excuses. Had refund all ready for us when we got there. Included an offer for a free tune up next time. Appreciate the effort to make things right. Pretty disappointing. Took my bike in to have a tune up. Didn't hear anything for two weeks. Finally called the shop only to be told that they had mistakenly put it up for sale on the floor and that it had not been touched yet. Said they would do it right away. Got it at the end of the week. Was told it needed new break pads and a new chain = 160$. Fair enough. Paid the bill and took my bike home. Was literally unloading it from the back of the van and putting it down on the lawn when the entire back wheel came off. I didn't even get a chance to ride it. Which is actually probably a good thing because that could have been a dangerous situation. Very disappointed. We have emailed them pictures but they havent done anything. Bike still in pieces and 160$ poorer. Very sad.
B	Brad Gent on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They had a dh bike listing on pinkbike for something I was interested in: the price was a little high but I thought I'd check it out and see if they would negotiate a better price. Upon arrival my wife and I were greeted by a very gregarious chap by the name of Dan: turns out he was the shop's owner. My wife and I browsed for awhile and then got down to business; I knew what I wanted to pay but was more than happy when Dan excepted my offer. All in all a great deal and pleasurable experience: highly recommend this store, oh yeah I'll be going back again for skis and bikes for my 3 kids: thanks again Dan!!

Great guys who will go out of their way to get your bike fixed. I really appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond to get things done when necessary. I like supporting local businesses like On Top because they help make our community a great place to live.
A	Ali on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went last week to purchase a helmet for my daughter. They didn’t have one in stock, but I asked if one could be ordered. He said sure we can order one it will take a few days, he took my information and never called back. My daughter was at the time very excited to have her new helmet and asked me everyday when it will come in. Very disappointed at this place, skip it and find another that cares about people.
H	Holly Stewart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do not like writing negative reviews but felt the need for this after having my bike serviced here. Found the mechanic to be very condescending during the initial assessment. The "fix" they provided for my bike was unstable which caused my bike to break a week later. According to a mechanic at a different shop, the break were a direct result of the new parts installed at On Top. Was able to receive a refund for only ~25% of what I paid for the new parts/maintenance. Will not be going back
