OHM Electric Bikes

Just a wonderful team based out in North Vancouver. I had never heard of Ohm before but I took my ebike (bought from another brand) in to add a Kinekt 2.1 suspension seatpost. They are one of the only dealers in Vancouver that carry this product. Due to is my bike's unique diameter, I wasn't sure which size I should purchase. Thankfully, the team over there were enthusiastic and so helpful in solving the problem. I was able to ride away super happy with my new suspension post!

Very pleased. This is my third e-bike and OHM's design and service is by far the best I have tried. After 7000 km I am extremely happy with the bike and their support in getting me the right bike for me. What I think distinguishes the two OHM bikes I have tried is the very refined design. Good value and a bike you learn to appreciate more and more! I haven't had to try their warranty, but am was glad to learn the cost of various parts if I have theft issues as I stop on the way to or from work.

Both my wife and I purchased E-bikes from OHM Electric Bikes (Chris and John, the owner) and found both the product and customer relations to be excellent. The bikes are custom designed by OHM and only use high quality components. Subsequently two friends of ours also purchased their bikes and had similar experiences. I highly recommend their product.

A brief story of why I bought and electric bike and why I recommend Ohm. I was simply tired of sitting in traffic every morning and afternoon to and from work. At the same time I have been trying to find a suitable regular exercise option that I can do besides work, volunteer work, activities with family and my hobbies… So one spring during “bike to work” week, about 3.5 years ago I started to bike to work. 30 km round trip on a hilly route. I was able to do it maximum three times a week. When I did more, I became useless at home, being too tired, so I stayed with the three days routine. I built up my gear and rode my very average standard bike through year around. I have been doing that for a while when I actively started to check out electric bikes. Mainly by stopping anyone I saw on one and ask them as many questions as they would answer about their experience, with the bike and the shop they got it from. I also tried several of them. Then our son got his driving license and he needed to drive himself to his part time job and other places, so we were suddenly short of one car in the family. It was time for me (and the family) to make a decision; one more car or spend some money, upgrade the bike and commute to work on bike full time. About that time I had met someone who was riding an Ohm XU700 bike. He had a great opinion of the Bike, so I decided to check it out. I tried the bike. I really loved it! I went home and told my family all about it. To fast forward my story and this review, few months later I had bought the bike. I’m riding it since, just passed 10000 km after 2 year of actual riding. Love it and love it. It’s powerful when I need it, comfortable and very user friendly… Over time staff helped me to customize my bike to my liking and assisted promptly, professionally with any question, issue I had with the bike. I call or visit them any time I need service or I have question and sometimes just to say hello. They have the know-how on E-bicycles. Look no further and have test ride…

I cannot speak highly enough about my shopping experience with Ohm Bikes on the North Shore. They have dedicated “test bikes” and offered me three different ones the first day. I did not immediately buy a bike that day, but spent three weeks riding bikes which appeared as good on paper. None of them compared after a test ride. I came back to Ohm and purchased a bike. They are not the cheapest bikes out there but having bought one, I feel the Quest I purchased was worth every penny. 5 stars. More to come later when I check out their service....

Can't say enough great things about Ohm and Chris, our salesperson. Bikes were great, helped us secure a great deal two Ohm Quests. When the bikes were stolen a couple months later we figured they were gone forever, but Chris called me a few weeks later to say someone was trying to order a charger for two bikes in Utah. Long story short, we recovered the bikes saving thousands! Amazing to have someone at Ohm watching out for us long after the sale. Great bikes, great people and great company!

Been enjoying this fantastic e-bike from OHM! I went on a 3 week research rant until my decision with OHM. It has been a month since my purchase and it has been a life changer. Chris was super helpful, informative and patient with my decision. I test drove this bike twice to take it to its limits. Biking up the hills in west vancouver is definitely a challenge and it has always been a pleasure. The different modes makes it easier to adjust on different terrains besides hills and flat surfaces. Once I had to put it up on a bus rack and the light weight made it effortless. Battery has been fantastic so far. Brakes work flawlessly. Highly recommend OHM bikes and the company seems be on the right path towards perfection.
