★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Previously had a good experience with sales staff here and the owner but the air of superiority, condescension and lack of customer service skills from the mechanic at the service counter today is enough reason to take my purchases elsewhere. Didn't catch his name so can't confirm if it's the same mechanic others are referring to in their reviews but based on similar reviews here, bad employees are bad for business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would just like to say that this is the best bike shop I have been to so far, they are very friendly and professional. I had a boy named Quinton help me and he was happy to help and helped me with everything i needed to know.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I mashed the rear tire on my eBike , while backing with it on the bike rack. I was in Whistler and they don't carry parts for hybrid,road or eBikes. Never met Lou but he gathered all my information and had it ready for Tom when I showed up on Saturday morning. They had me up and running within the hour !!! Great service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in to drop my bike off for a tune-up. The mechanic Lou was extremely rude. He embarrassed me infront of other customers and was disrespectful. Based on previous reviews, this rude behavior has been ongoing for 3+ years and management deems this rude behaviour acceptable. This one employee continues to drive paying customers away from the business. I will never shop at Obsession Bikes again and will advise family and friends to do the same. This is unfortunate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a good selection but they are expensive and don't shy away from it. Once I went in and asked for a flat wrench to tighten a pedal and they sold me a fancy one that costs $25 which is about 4x the price of a standard flat wrench. Other other bike shop would tell you to buy a cheap one from Canadian tire.
I'm addition, the service guys is one of those typical grumpy guys that thinks he knows everything and basically plays games with you to make you feel stupid instead of helping you.
I have been in this stare many times over the years and it's always the same. Im also ways looking for somewhere better but this place is in walking distance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A mechanic named Lou was very arrogant and mean, made me feel like I knew nothing about bikes and didn’t seem happy to help me.
I am looking to buy a new bike but will be going to steed cycles where the service is more friendly and they don’t make you feel silly.
The other people in the shop was very friendly though..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in today looking for a bike for my kid. I wasn't sure what size to get and didn't want to spend so much on a bike that would be too small by summer. All the staff there were so friendly and so helpful, and my kid was so happy he couldn't stop doing his happy dance in the store. We went with a second hand Opus they had since one of the staff pointed out, at this magical age, we're likely looking at a new bike every year. Overall it was an amazing experience and we will definitely be going back for our next bike (which will probably be soon, at the rate this kid is growing.)

He answered all my questions and gave me tons of great tips. I highly recommend going here. The staff are all helpful and very knowledgeable. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
