Rude owner. Terrible items. Very bad experience. She said “you can leave…” Of course I will never come again. The items are over price and terrible.

People expect things to be 5 dollars and the staff to charm you into buying things, well get over it! This is a REAL Antique store, the prices are ridiculously fair, and if you have patience and politeness, you will have a fantastic time.

Over priced, the owner hovers, unfriendly and makes you feel like you shouldn’t even be in the store. Bought an “antique” hand statue only to see it being sold on another website BRAND NEW for $15, I paid $35. I recently went back in to look around to see the same statue again lol Just because you collect and display a bunch of junk does not mean you can call everything an “antique”. Don’t waste your time.

i really liked going here with my mom, at first i thought all the reviews were wrong because the lady was rather friendly and i thought the store was awesome. i still think the store is really cool, i love everything in there but when i went with my friend she was very rude and it felt like she just wanted us to leave. I was looking at something in a locked case and when i asked if i could take a look at it closer she told me she didn’t have the key to the case and therefore couldn’t price the item. maybe that is the truth but it seems a little weird you’d keep a case out on display with lots of items if you couldn’t sell any of them. it felt like she just didn’t want to open the case for us and she kept urging us to check out and leave which i thought was very rude. We weren’t being disrespectful or disruptive at all. She had been very friendly and helpful when my mom and I had gone so it was a bit unnerving seeing the owner act completely different when it was just my friend and i. For reference my friend and I are just under 20 so it’s not like we were loud annoying kids, it was overall just very disrespectful and as much as I loved the products I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I came across the store strolling along Queen St. W. this week and I regret having put a step in as it proved to be the most unpleasant and horrible experience I have had. The shopkeeper was not only impolite, super rude and unprofessional but also unethical as she further lied about an item and sold me a fake at the price of an original. She certainly makes a good effort to strip the customer of their humanity and dignity. It's a surprise that the store has not gone out of business with the poor quality of service and merchandise. She shouldn't be in this business.

Quite disappointed in the store, I wanted to look at a certain book they had and when I asked the owner if I could look at it she asked if I wanted to buy it and I wasn’t sure at the time since I wanted to make sure it was in a somewhat decent condition. So instead of getting it down for me she simply said “its too much trouble to get it down if you’re only curious about it”... This made me very confused since if she had let me look closer I most likely would have bought it. Not to mention she just seemed very bothered by me which was pretty intimidating. Oh and I also noticed they had some items that weren’t antique at all.

I see all the 1 star reviews and am very confused by them lol I visited this store in December of last year and had a great experience, so maybe management has changed recently? Either way, I had a really nice time here! I ended up getting a piece for a discount, and even got a little free pen! I like this place, and I love how decorated it is on the inside : )

I thought I’d be the only one with a horrible experience in this shop, but looking at the other reviews, I definitely was not. The store caught me eye as I saw some pretty cool things displayed by the window. I wanted to go inside to get something for my mom (she likes little cute antique things) but the door was locked, however the open sign was on and the lady was right by the door. I knocked and asked if I could have a look inside. She said it was by appointment only but she let me in anyways which I was thankful for because the store itself was pretty cool and immediately saw quiet a few things I wanted. I couldn’t decide what to get so I looked around. Meanwhile she was watching me like a hawk which was a little uncomfortable, but I understand there are tiny items that people may steal. After a few minutes she said “want anything?” I said laughing trying to make friendly conversation “it’s hard to decide, my mom would probably like everything here” she said “well that’s too bad and pointed at the door” so I figured okay maybe there is an appointment that’s coming up and she want the store empty quickly. While leaving i asked how I can make a appointment to come back and this was where my whole day was ruined as she replied “well you were already in the store so that was your appointment okay bye”. Extremely disappointed because I was willing to buy a few things if I had more time. Definitely never going back again though. Store was nice but the entire experience was ruined by this extremely rude lady. Horrible experience.
