The Old Car Centre changed hands about three years ago. It was a thriving business with excellent knowledgeable staff and an owner known to everyone in the hotrod fraternity. Relied upon for honesty and customer service. The new owners have changed things to suit themselves which is their perogative. However they have also have written the script on how to take a booming business with excellent employees and turn it into an abysmal mess. With possibly one exception the current staff know nothing about hotrods, speed parts or customer service. Phones ring off the hook, then, sometimes a girl may answer and put you on hold for 20 minutes or until you hang up. The knowledgeable staff have quit ( new owners call this retiring ) To Richard, Justin, and Rick Farmer, I'm soooo sorry to hear your retired, regardless of the spin the new owners are putting on your departures, party line ( retiring ) We know better Us old guys miss you and have moved on to new suppliers , hope you all do well Pete Rose Langley BC

Went in there to buy some coil over springs. Stood around waiting. One man at the counter helping someone. One on the phone and the other on his computer. Figured he was doing something important so I stand and wait. Guy finishes his phone call and goes on his computer. Figure again he his placing the order from the call he just had. Other guy finishes up with the other customer. They just start talking to each other. So I stand there waiting completely ignored. Why even bother trying to support local when they dont care for you business anyway.

Very disappointed with them. Quite awhile ago Hubby purchased a roller shade for his 32. There was a problem with it and it was returned to be re-ordered. This went on for some time that the product was not available or there was always a problem. Richard Nelson was handling this for my hubby and said not to worry the credit was on his account. Finally got tired of waiting and wanted to use the 50.00 plus dollars on something else. Well guess what! No one knew anything about it and Richard Nelson is no longer there. Would not even attempt to call him and verify this. Needless to say, we are out the money!!! They say don’t know anything about this. What ever happened to customer service? Just heard from them and they are stepping up and have ordered a new roller shade for my hubby. Thank you for following though. You have restored our faith in this matter and done in such a timely fashion.

I completely understand that all businesses are facing challenges with staffing shortages, experience levels and supply chain issues. However, after waiting over 3 months for my parts orders; multiple visits and email messages to OCC, unfortunately I had to cancel my order(s). I tried to reach out to ownership (via a mutual friend) and was told someone would call me back to no avail. I’ve spent thousands of dollars with OCC over the years and no longer can deal with the broken promises and lack of proactive customer follow up. I’m starting all over again with a new supplier in Langley and making great progress. Hopefully, OCC can back to their previous service levels; as I truly believe in supporting local small businesses!
