wasted a month and a half of my time waiting to see a doctor. three appointments were canceled with no notice. the one call i did get back from them was at 8pm after my third appointment was dropped no notice. Dr on the line was massively condescending and had zero sympathy for the situation he put me in. straight up refused to help me after i waited over a month to see him. oasis blew me off for so long i ended up in emergency care. staff is completely indifferent to the needs of their patients, people in this town deserve so much better.

Not a walk in and treated terribly when I pointed out they are listed as one still on here. Update your services

Joined this clinic recently as were new to Cochrane, and our family was assigned Dr Ali. Our meet the Dr appointment was scheduled and Dr Ali was over an hour late for the scheduled appointment. We chose to overlook this initially. Second appointment, and again I was made to wait 45 minutes past my booked appointment time. I get that things happen and Drs can run behind, so I asked if this was the usual here. I was advised yes. My husband had the same experience with wait times on a booked appointment at this location with the same Dr. Our family has decided to travel across the city to resume practice with our previous family Dr from Chestermere as a result of this whole we find a new Dr accepting patients in Cochrane. Waiting more than an hour, in a very tiny Dr waiting room during Covid isn’t good for anyone. They could have advised he was running an hour late and I could have advised my employer and waited outside with my children instead of in the waiting area with few places to sit.

I have been going here for a few years, and each time I hope and think it's going to get better, but sadly it hasn't. My Doctor is Dr. Ali, and every time I have booked an appointment he has made me wait over an hour from my booked appointment time to see him. He clearly has no respect for his patients as he seems to think their time is not as valuable as his. No other business would be able to treat customers in that way. In addition to this issue in recent months trying to call the clinic to book an appointment has been a nightmare. The call goes straight on hold with no receptionist picking up the phone even to first say hello. I have had to wait over 20 minutes on hold for someone to finally answer the phone. When I finally got through recently I booked a telephone appointment (because of COVID). I was scheduled for Tuesday January 5, and they gave me a window saying my doctor would call between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. I waited the entire time and never received my phone call. On top of that when I called at 6:02 to try and reach the clinic, the clinic was closed. This is entirely unacceptable behavior for a doctor's office to disrespect their patients so much. I would not recommend going here and I will not be coming back.

I just phoned to make an appointment for a family member and was told that Dr. Ali can't see any patients in person until mid May. First phone appointment available was April 28th??!! And rather than making an actual appointment at a specific time, we're given a window between 9 and 3. So is the patient meant to take the day off work in the hopes that the doctor actually deigns to call within the allotted time frame? How is that supposed to work?? We're making an appointment with a doctor, not the cable guy! I had a rather heated conversation with the receptionist around this issue, she explained that she's just doing her job. I feel badly for her, because I cannot believe that given the way they're running things at this clinic, I'm the only person who has expressed shock, dismay and displeasure about the way they're leaving their patients without the care they need. The receptionist told me if the patient needs help before they can get an appointment they should go to urgent care (which may explain the congestion and line-ups at urgent care). At which point I explained to her that the issues my family member has are not the kind of thing you go to the ER for, but are ongoing health concerns that he's been working with Dr. Ali to resolve. Now it seems the doctor is scheduling phone appointments a month down the road. NO ONE IS THAT BUSY!!! Or at least, no doctor should be that busy if he hopes to be able to care for any of his patients. Meanwhile his patient, my loved one, needs help he can't get- at least not at this clinic, with this doctor, within a remotely reasonable time frame. Disgusting and ridiculous. Edit: Just went online onto the AHS site to try to search up a new doctor- Dr. Ali is listed as a doctor who is STILL TAKING NEW PATIENTS DESPITE THE FACT THAT HE DOESN'T HAVE TIME TO CARE FOR THE PATIENTS HE HAS?!? Good luck, new patients!

I would give it zero stars if I could. Dr Ali misdiagnosed my son's fractured spine from a ski accident. Dr. Ali missed the fracture on the X-ray and said that he had soft tissue injury and ordered a $300 bottle of inflammatory cream. my son was still hurting a week later so I took him into Foothills where they diagnosed him with a fractured spine and said the $300 cream was a waste. I called to discuss this with Dr Ali but a year later and he still hasn't responded.

Front reception are extremely rude, and lacking at their jobs. Came in one day and was greeted extremely rudely. The few doctors I’ve seen here are great though. I get a call a few days later the doctor wants to discuss results with me. Well I come in and wait 1.5 hours in a room, for the doctor to ask why am I here? I then explain I was called to discuss results with his reply β€œoh the reception is new and made a mistake.” To top it off, I applied here for a part time job. During my interview and explaining where else I work and why I wanted part time, the interviewer went on for 5 minutes that I’m not smart for wanting a part time job where I’m making more at my other job blah blah blah, so that was enough for me to utilize my skills at another establishment that didn’t mind I worked for the government.

Dr. Maharaj is fantastic, my daughter has seen her since birth and I've seen her for 10 years after my daughter was born. She is incredibly thorough and gives her full attention. She is great with my daughter and always wants to ensure that full care is given for both of us. She is amazing to deal with, I'm very glad we found her as our family doctor.
