This place was very busy when we came around 7 PM. Come earlier because they don't take reservations on the phone.
Not a bad place for sushi because of the price. I ordered The Uni & Salmon Sashimi, Chicken Karaage and Unagimite Roll. All the dishes were good in taste and the price is very reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I visited Victoria on part of our two week trip around the island, and while we were there, we ate at Nubo 3 nights in a row! It was honestly the most incredible food we've ever had, and the sushi is to die for! The zero roll and mango Tango rolls were my absolute favorite!! Exceptional food and staff, we will absolutely be visiting again in the future :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A bustling busy restaurant with a lineup outside is a pretty good indicator of popularity. My first visit, took a long time to get in, a long time to get service, a long time to get our dishes. Then one dish was forgotten entirely. Luckily it was fixed immediately. Still, gotta have a better system for that. Excellent quality of flavours, totally delicious, so that helped. Would return sometime, but not as my first choice.

Ordered the cowboy and lucky strike rolls and were delighted by them. They seared the cowboy roll table side. Service was great and will definitely come back. Thank you

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice taste of Japanese cousin. Got my team entertained and saved from hunger. The service is great, food is good - judge for yourself. Have I seen better sushi places - yes, but this one has good pricing, great element of presentation and my team loved it. So - recommended.
The place is busy. You better come earlier around 5:00 pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely DYNAMITE! Fabulous taste, and great drinks. I never knew how good pesto could be on a sushi roll, but here we are. The Fish and Chip roll, the Victoria Secret roll, and the Pickle Me roll were my top three favourites. A bit pricey, but so very tasty. Take yourself there as a treat and enjoy every bite!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good place to get sushi and other Japanese dishes. It was a very busy night but they were able to accommodate us swiftly. Love the aburi! Service was outstanding and the food came quickly for us. Quite a variety of items on the menu that are moderately on a high price point but the quality is there. Definitely would come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible atmosphere that somehow manages to be both exciting and intimate, and like the food, in perfectly balanced servings.
Amazed at the number of flavours and ingredients they are able to fit into a sushi roll without falling into the "westernized sizing" that so many similar establishments seemed to have adopted. Delicate, balanced, and satisfying without being a meal ender.
For those who enjoy all the various food media these days, and have wanted to experiment without signing up for a large, unknown dish... the Tapas style and extremely affordable menu makes multiple visits not only a must, but a new, yet familiar experience with each visit.
Attentive yet subdued service finishes the dish perfectly.
Balance and thoughtfulness are the threads throughout which the entire experience is woven.
