★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to ENe recently with my cousin who works there. Firstly, the staff and management were so incredibly happy to see us, friendly with each other and supportive ylto each other... all testaments to good work culture.
The vibe inside is cozy, but sleek. ENe had a dazzling array of sake, Japanese spirits and a well stocked bar. The sake menu is well curated, features a variety of incredible sakes at a variety of price points and come with a variety of opportunities to discover and enjoy from by the glass, by the bottle or by a flight. There are cards that help walk you thrift tasting notes, rice varieties, pairing and other information to help enhance your experience.
The food was fresh, thoughtfully and properly seasoned, clean in presentation and excellent in flavour. I was especially impressed with the quality of sashimi and little touches like yuzu zest on the edamame.
Best enjoyed with friends over several rounds of sake, but fantastic for any dining experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food, great vibe, great service! The sashimi is super fresh, I especially like the tuna, it was very delicious. All the hot food is solid as well. In terms of service, our waiter was extremely helpful and friendly, and they even offered us a complimentary birthday dessert… oh yes, the crepe cake, I think it’s a must try!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fantastic spot for a classy Japanese date. The sashimi is very fresh and the options plentiful. Sampled a lot of the menu between the four of us and was perfectly satisfied at the end for a very reasonable price. Will surely be back many times. The bar selection is fantastic to boot!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was at Nubo 3 months ago and the food was amazing so my second visit in 2021 I had to try ENe and the food does not disappoint at all. Sitting at the bar, I've noticed the bartender and all the staff were super friendly and courteous. Definitely will be coming back each time we're back in Victoria for our japanese tapas fix!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best Japanese restaurant i visited in Pacific Northwest area. The seafood is very fresh and everything is delicious in general. The dishes are all pretty to look at.
However, it's also the first place where I ate a whole shabu shabu and still feels hungry. I went off to get some pizza to fill my stomach.

The food was absolutely incredible, from the waygu carpaccio to the sashimi and sake everything was out of this world. I'll be back in my next visit.
