Nova Electrolysis

I absolutely adore Hanna and Nova Electrolysis. I came for the permanent hair removal, but keep coming back for the conversation and laughter.

About a week ago, I bought a Groupon for 1h of electrolysis hair removal at this place. So far, my experience with this place has been awful. I was trying to call to make an appointment. No matter which day/hour I called, I got a voicemail. There's an email on the website of Nova Electrolysis, so I sent a super detailed email with my name, days/times that I am available, regions I want to treat, etc. I got a super abrupt response from the owner telling me that I need to call to make an appointment. I went back on the phone for several days, tried calling, leaving voicemail, without any success. No one would pick up the phone or return my call. One week after I had bought my Groupon and started this whole effort to reach an employee at Nova Electrolysis, I picked up the phone, called them, and shockingly, someone picked up the phone! However, the moment I mentioned that I was calling to make an appointment, that person told me "I will need to call you back in 15 minutes" - but did not bothered asking me for my phone number. It was really weird and unprofessional. Unsurprisingly, that person never called me back. A few hours later, I tried calling back Nova Electrolysis. I finally managed to speak to a human who did not hung up on me after 1 minute. The moment I mentioned that I was calling to make an appointment, the lady who was speaking to me became super weird and told me "I will need to call me back". I swear, it's as if this place was not interested in making money. She did not even bothered asking for me phone number or the best moment to reach me. I seriously think this business might be a fake business that does not exist in real life and only scams people through Groupon. I advise that you don't buy a Groupon for Nova Electrolysis and that you don't try to make an appointment there, unless you have countless hours of your life to waste.

The lady that works there is unbelievable, I tried to call her multiply for nine days straight and when she finally answered I needed an appointment before 14/8 because my coupon was to expire on that day; she booked on the day of the expiration. She wasted my appointment on dancing around the bush in order to not do her job because I bought a coupon off of Groupon. Also the address that’s posted on Groupon is wrong and when I called her to ask about the location she kept on repeating the building’s number until I decided to knock on every door in the building to find her office, and when I did I had 10 minutes left from my 15 minutes session but she kept on saying that there isn’t enough time to complete my session then she moved onto talking about how she knows more than I do and that my knowledge about the procedure is very limited; I’ve been doing electrolysis for two years and I’ve been through over ten sessions. She proceeded to waste my time till the next client arrived and told me that my appointment was over.

I called so many times to make an appointment and no one answers the phone here. My groupon expired and lost my money. Go elsewhere! Edit : Yes, I am sure it was "Nova Electrolosis". Lol. Please dont act surprised. There are other reviews stating the same thing. For all who do not believe please try and call the business yourself during business hours.

Although Hannah is a bit difficult to book with initially, it's worth waiting for a response. She is the owner & sole operator and she usually books up quickly so if you don't get an answer when you call, leave a message, she'll get back to you. I've been going every 3 weeks for about 5 months now. Noticeable reduction in hair but it is a long process so be prepared for a financial & time commitment. Hannah is very easy to talk to and we always pick up the conversation where we left off from the previous month. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to see Hanna for almost two years now and I’m almost at the end of my treatment. I am very happy that I decided to start going there. Hanna is very busy, she has a lot of patients so it can be difficult to get a spot but it is worth to wait cause you see the results at the end. Hanna is great lady and she knows what she’s doing. She will make sure to see it though if you decide to commit to the treatment.

Nova Electrolysis has changed my life. I feel more confident and the hair is completely gone! Thank You Nova Electrolysis you are an angel in my life.
