★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve taken three classes here over the last two years. I can’t say how amazing each and every one of the studio courses they offer really is! The profs are wickedly talented, professional, and patient. And the other students who attend are of all ages, and experiences in art. Some who want to take classes to improve their portfolios for school / professional purposes, and others who want to take classes because they just love the craft. I can’t recommended this studio enough if you are looking for a workshop in Toronto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was so enjoyable to watch Megan paint. She is great teacher with wonderful communicating skills and a BOMB PERSONALITY!! The studio provides an opportunity for affordable quality learning for adults of all backgrounds and interests in a non-judgmental environment. I personally benefit greatly from her step by step demonstrations. She wants everyone to succeed and gives every student patience, attention and incredibly thorough explanations of how light works on the subject, how it manipulates chroma and value, etc. You will learn new painting techniques and walk away with a finished work at the end of the session. Absolutely take workshops with Studio West if you are looking to seriously improve your technique as a painter and observer to a more professional degree, no matter your experience.
