★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in to get a trim and layers with Alicia and it was a great first experience. The studio itself is clean and very welcoming. I was greeted with a wide smile and a short wait time. When it was time to get to business, Alicia made me feel at ease with discussing my hair routine and what I wanted (you know how it is, sometimes you feel judged) and talked about my specific hair texture and tips and tricks to maintain it. Side note: this was the first time I've had a curly-haired stylist and it made a world of difference. They also provide a sort of "first-time package" where you get coupons for next time, showing they really value your business.
TLDR: Studio was great and Alicia was phenomenal and I'll definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in to get a haircut....do not like it one bit. I asked for it to be razor cut as I know my hair, I like the razor cut for light ends. My ends are blunt and I cannot style it. Not happy. I know some hairstylists perfer not to cut with a razor but should have let me know so that I could've rebooked my appointment and be with somebody who can do that kind of cut for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here for the first time today and was really happy I did. The person on the phone was very friendly and polite. The lady who cut my hair was also very friendly and helped me pick a hairstyle that suited me.
Overall I found the price very reasonable and the staff very friendly. I would come here again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ normally I love the service but the woman that did my eyebrows today did them in a way I didn't really like.
I went back the following day, the lady I normally go to fixed my eyebrows the best she could. I was happy with the fix up. I will only go to her.. the first woman wasn't rude or anything, I just really hated the way my eyebrows turned out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I gave 2 stars because the staff were kind, the salon was pretty and clean, but my haircut was awful. I'll keep it short but basically i just moved here and I needed a hair cut and have no one to ask for recommendations so I tried this place. My hair was an inch away from my belly button and now isn't even nipple length and I asked for 2 inches off. The lady showed me how much she would cut off as it was breaking, I agreed (About 3-4 inches) and I watched her cut off double that. 4 inches of hair is not the same as 4 inches of curl. I asked if she knew curly hair, she said yes, and now it is clear she doesn't as when I commented she said there is almost nothing on the floor... but if course, I have thin hair. I measured when i got home... she cut just over 7 inches off. I am not that serious about my hair but I want to cry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been going to The Cellar door for over a decade; this place feels like a second home. From the moment you walk in the door, The Cellar Door has an incredibly welcoming environment. I always look forward to my appointments as I know I get to relax and leave feeling like a million bucks. It’s also a great place to find locally made items for gifts (or gifts to add to your own wish list!).
