Doc seems nice, but if you have to make any changes to your appointment you are told that you will have to pay a fee (Yea, that isn't going to happen). After that, they won't bother to call you, so when you call them you find out that they expect you to 'guarantee' you will be there for the next appointment. Sorry, but if this is how you expect life to work, I will absolutely go elsewhere. Edit - I just took a look at other reviews, and it is interesting to note that there are more one and two star reviews that all of the five, four and three star reviews. And most of the reviews are in regards to the front end service. That alone says alot.
A	Amber Grisham on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know WHAT those critical people are talking about! Why would they leave such a bad rating when they all agree that the Doctor is amazing? People! My experience was amazing from the moment I called this office. The staff were very professional, polite, efficient and actually CARING! I cannot state how much of a positive difference this wonderful staff made to my experience. I was terrified to see a Doctor again after some bad experiences in the past - but this Doctor was very kind and patient. He took the time to answer all of my questions and he even drew a picture of exactly how he was going to do my surgery. I was so scared at first, that I was in tears while waiting to see him, but he had me laughing and at ease within a few minutes! The surgery on my chest wall went really well and I didn't feel a thing. I can't even see the scar anymore, and I am so grateful to these wonderful people. I had a couple of concerns about my healing after the surgery - I am SUCH a ninny - and the front-end staff were very patient with me. They told me to text the Dr. some photos, and he called me within minutes to reassure me that everything was fine. If I could offer TEN stars, I would!
C	Chris Bretzer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't understand the negative reviews, I was in the office earlier this week for a consultation, and as any good doctor the office was busy, but clean, and very well kept. I did wait for a bit for my appointment but that is not unexpected. The staff is friendly and treated me with a caring and professional manner. I appreciate all the confirmations and the fact they want to actually talk to you to confirm you are coming. The doctor was very knowledgeable and thorough. He took his time to answer the questions I had even though I'm sure I ran past my time. I for one am glad that such caring professionals (everyone in the office) exist in this world. Please when you read a bad review know there are two sides to every story.
J	Journal Club on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to rebook an appointment due to a conflict with work. Receptionist was very polite and worked quickly to fit me in ASAP. Had Doctor Fernandes as my family doctor for over 15 years, he truly is the most knowledgable family doctor and surgeon in Calgary. 10/10.
M	Marnie Marr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really terrific, professional service. I really liked the receptionist (don't know what he bad reviews are about) and the doctor is terrific! I had a lump removed on my shoulder and the Dr. explained that this lump was large enough that it could leave a bit of a divot in my shoulder which could look weird so he was going to do some extra work to make sure this didn't happen. For a few months after the surgery I actually has a bump in this area and I thought the Dr. had overcorrected for the lump removal. About 5 months after surgery the bump went away and the area is completely flat - no hollow and no bump - exactly perfect. Dr. Fernandes is incredibly skilled!! Yes, I paid $400 for the supplies, etc, but I feel that this was a very low price for such precision cosmetic surgery.

As a professional who works in healthcare and is around patients all day, I understand that it can be difficult but this patient care was a different level of horrible. My doctor was always unapologetically hours late and then rushed you through your appointment, which you needed to make months in advance due to lack of availability. Overall a very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend visiting this clinic (which you need to pay an extra service fee to be a client at).
I	Invictus Invictus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is an unusually caring and attentive medical office. The Doctor is excellent and absolutely on point. The Nurses are caring and easy to communicate with. The staff at this clinic are very attentive and connected to the medical community at large. They called to check on me daily during my COVID infection, and they were pleased to help my parents book their vaccinations online because they didn't have a computer. My parents weren't even patients at the clinic. I do not normally post reviews because I think that they are worthless. Most reviews are posted by people who are unreasonably angry about one thing or another; but I thought I owed it to this Medical office for people to see an honest review by a normal bloke who I am certain represents the majority of opinions on this place. This is a place of excellence and I'm pleased to be patient here.

I get the doctor has stuff he needs to accomplish in a day but I'm only human. she didnt need to be so outright rude, fees? fine I did miss an appointment, dehumanizing me at the drop of a hat? needless and unprofessional. (update: front desk staff were alot better when I went in and talked to them)
