First time on a bike in 30 years and they took the time to make me feel safe and comfortable! They didn’t have the perfect bike for me, but I refuse to buy one until I can buy it from them! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered their EVO fenders online. The description stated it would fit 700c x 40mm. The problem is they don't fit. And when it came to them honoring their guarantee they told me it was my problem and to contact the manufacturer. You see, I live in Ontario and though they said they would provide a refund because they didn't fit, they flatly refused to pay for return shipping. Obviously it's not worth the cost of shipping so essentially I am screwed! Be careful with Norhtstar, especially when purchasing online.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a derailleur hanger online. 7 days later it still had not shipped. There was no response to my email. I called and left a detailed message asking them to cancel my order or call me back. About an hour later I was notified that the part had shipped. 3 days later I looked for an update and found that the shipping info had been sent to FedEx but the actual part STILL had not been sent. So frustrating. I will not deal with this company again.
Update: I was contacted by Ryan the store manager who apologized for my poor experience and offered to refund my purchase including shipping. I realize that stuff happens and things sometimes get screwed up but it's rare for a company to reach out and offer to make things right. I have changed my rating to reflect this.
