★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are so happy with the Niagara Dog Rescue experience. We love our new addition from Texas, she's is such a good girl, such a lover! Which we didn't necessarily expect from a stray. Alexandra Banas, our lead was extremely helpful! She even has a dog training business and we have started training our new pup with her! Thank you Alex!!! The process was professional and even though it took some time for us to actually get our new dog, the foster mom was sending me videos, pictures and we were able to chat and keep up with how she was doing until we picked her up in Niagara. It is amazing, they have so many great volunteers. I would suggest Niagara Dog Rescue to everyone, and have already started doing so! So many great dogs that need loving homes!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are so grateful for Jaymie and the team at NDR ... they were helpful, they were supportive and they helped us find the perfect addition to our family.
From the initial application process right down to the thorough reference interviews, it was great to see the team take this adoption very seriously and ensure they fully understood us as a family and our needs as well as ensure we were a good family to setup for adoption.
WE LOVE OUR MISS P and cannot thank NDR and especially Jaymie enough for helping us find her!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We adopted Miss Daisy from NDR in May of 2021 and we had an amazing experience. They were always prompt and clear, the screening process was transparent and thorough - they clearly love their dogs and want good, permanent homes for them. At the same time, our parameters were very respected and we were always made to feel good if we said no to a dog for any reason, like thinking it was too high energy. Also, they warned us of any potential issues they saw with dogs we thought might work out but we had not read the description carefully - not good with kids, etc. Overall NDR is AMAZING and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a rescue!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend NDR. It was a bit of a wait for a coordinator to reach out to me after applying, but they took the time to get to know my family's needs and what we were looking for in a dog. They paired us with a puppy, who had been well socialized while with a foster. I can't speak highly enough about the wonderful foster. Our pup was halfway housetrained at 8 weeks and knew a couple basic commands.
NDR is honest about their dogs, and really tried to find the best fit for my family so that the adoption was successful. They are very thorough and put the dog's needs first. I will absolutely adopt through them again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have rescued 2 dogs through Niagara Dog Rescue over the years and the professionalism, compassion and care the volunteers have shown through the process is exceptional. The Lead took the time to understand what we were looking for and they are very thorough in every aspect of the adoption. I would highly recommend this rescue. The work these volunteers do and the countless hours they spend is awe-inspiring. I couldn't be happier with my latest rescue Holly. She is the world to me and I thank NDR for finding her and bringing her into my life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adopting through Niagara Dog Rescue was the best decision my husband and I could have ever made. Of course our dog is amazing, but the whole process was smooth and quick, we were able to adopt the dog who's profile stole our hearts, and the help, tips qnd recommendations our adoption lead Alexis gave us along the way was encouraging and appreciated. We were able to get a good sense of our dogs temperament and personality before we met her, the profile was accurate and helped us ensure we were a good pick for her and she for us.
The volunteers with the Rescue care so much about these dogs and finding them good homes, it felt special being approved and getting to take home our wonderful addition to our family. Would definitely recommend going through this organization to find your pup.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the beginning of the process, I understood quickly that this organization is TRULY in it to help their dogs find the RIGHT home. From the detailed interviewing process, reference checks and hands on information, I felt understood on what we were looking for in our family and felt that I had enough information about the Dog we adopted. I've been letting everyone know the same thing. These animals need homes, don't spend $$ on designer dogs. Our guy "King" is perfect for our family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Most wonderful experience ever. The volunteers I worked with were so kind and approachable. I adopted my first little boy in 2018 and decided to foster a Korean boy in 2021. FAILED…lol
I have referred many people to Niagara now and share the posts daily in hopes of helping other rescues to find a safe, loving home. The adoption process is so thorough that these dogs are lucky to have such great advocates. Picture has my two little Niagara boys and my Oldy but Goody, golden girl which they have put extra spark back in her life.
