★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Melissa's a horrible person. I don't know if she thought I was dumb but she'd tried fabricating my encounters with her. I've had all our conversations recorded and at this point want to sue. I tried to surrender some of my rabbits and she refused, saying I could only surrender all of them. She then told me, as well as a welfare officer that I never said that and I'd agreed to surrender them all then backed out and even the welfare officer had corrected her. He also told her she shouldn't be only accepting all of the rabbits and leaving me with at the time 8 due to there being babies. The rabbits owner had ended up surrendering the rabbits due to them being told I wasn't capable of taking care of them financially, which I'm assuming Melissa had a large part in that.
Absolutely disgraceful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I adopted my cat from GHS about 1 year ago now - can't recommend this organization enough! They clearly care about their animals and want the adoption process to be as smooth as possible. Even after adoption, I was put in touch with an animal behaviour expert to discuss my concerns and this really helped my cat to fit into my home. Now I can't imagine life without being a cat mom! :) A great place to adopt from.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful facility. Good positive and friendly environment. The care and welfare of the animals is obviously priority. It would be nice if such a facility like this, other than for lost or sick animals was not needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My dog got out of the house. The humane society picked her up kept her safe overnight since they were closed when I got there. The staff was so friendly and great with me. Thanks for making sure my escape artist was safe and cared for!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My cat Charlie was in her 9th year, I was petting her and checking her abdomen and she reacted when I touched a certain spot and kicked my hand away with her back feet. After explaining the situation to the Humane Society, they realized it was an emergency type situation and because I'm on a fixed income, they made me feel better about the decision I needed to make in her best interests and picked her up that night, as I could not afford any veterinary bills.
