★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We hired them to do crown moulding for the whole house and wainscoting in our master bedroom. We are blown away by the quality of work Anton and his team performed. Everything is just too perfect. All the nail holes are filled in and sanded, everything is perfectly aligned, all the edges match up perfectly. Refreshing to see contractors who value quality and are so skilled in their craft. Will definitely be using them again and recommending to everyone we know.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NewRidge / NS Contracting re-finished our hardwood floors on our main level as well as various stairs and banisters leading to our lower and upper levels. Overall they were a pleasure to deal with. Scott at Newridge was extremely prompt in responding to all of our requests and fair in negotiating a price for our project. Lory and Radu of NS Contracting completed the work and were excellent! Their attention to detail was amazing. They took extra care in all aspects of the job and were willing to take extra time to show us samples and discuss all aspects of the project. They were friendly and courteous at all times. You can tell that they genuinely care about their work product. They even kept us updated with e-mails and photos as the job progressed while we were away. We are extremely pleased with the job and highly recommend them.

Matt is exceptionally talented when it comes to fixing and refinishing hardwood floors. Finding a missing wall that left a hole in the floor after the carpet had been removed didn’t faze Matt at all, looks like it was never there to begin with. His attention to detail is phenomenal; he added door trim in places we forgot about. He left our home immaculate after each day, allowing us to get some painting done in the eve.
This is a company when you find them you keep their business card for life. They are that good!!!
Thanks so much for your hard work Matt, the floors look beautiful, what an incredible job!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NewRidge did a phenomenal job of refinishing hardwood at our place (Richmond Hill, ON L4C 0C4) on the Upper level (4 Bedrooms + closets), Landing area and Staircase (L-Shaped) in just 5 days. Entire crew (hardwood = Brian / Paul / Aaron + Painting = Cam) are skilled practitioners. Brian rightly identified that Jatoba wood (Brazilian Cherry) was installed in 2 bedrooms and is deemed an "upgrade" though the prior owner/s of the house had gotten it stained "a bit too dark" for my taste. Brian advised and the team successfully delivered Clearing Dark colour / Sanding / Buffing / Water based Staining (Jatoba + Oak combo). *** Extremely happy with the results, and will engage the team again to refinish "main level" (once we are able to empty the floors) !!

In particular- I would like to thank Brian for going the extra mile to make sure that the installers knew the situation and desired outcome so that there were no issues. He listened so well and returned not just once but twice to make sure all would go well with an installation that was a bit of an outlier for them. The installation team was truly impressive. Rarely have I seen such synergy when it comes to home improvement service. The Newridge business process as a whole is without surprises. Much appreciated !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After they've rebuilt our stairs and hallway, we hired them to refinish the floor in our living/dining room, and once again, the work was done on time, with quality, at a reasonable price. Very impressed & highly recommended.
Everything, from quote to completion, was done as expected, on time, and the quality of the finished products (new stairs & hallway floor) is fantastic. We would not hesitate to recommend the services provided by NewRidge Refinishing.
