My 1960's kitchen was completely replaced by Toronto Flooring People. Their excellent project manager provided everything and everybody on time. The "crew" included demoliton, gas fitters, plumbers, electrians, hardwood installers, custom cabinet maker, and painters. The company only seems to employ the most congenial of trades people. My kitchen renovation was a complete success.

Toronto Flooring designed a great looking, functional, efficient kitchen to replace an outdated and tired looking original kitchen in my recently purchased townhouse. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. They delivered what they said they would and when they said they would. The organisational skills of the project manager were amazing. I would have no hesitation in recommending Toronto Flooring to anyone who is looking to renovate their kitchen.

We bought a house last year and we wanted a huge transformation at the house. I wanted an open space as much as possible and the team of Toronto Flooring made it happen. Danny and his team are very professional, and despite all the obstacles they did an amazing job. I think the pictures shows better than any words. Thank you Danny for making this dream come true. An outstanding kitchen and a beautiful floor Every single thing they did is wonderful and everybody who enters in our house are delighted

REPLY TO OWNER: -I did email AND text Danny about the defective flooring, shortly after the job was done (proof will be provided in court, and can be uploaded here for readers if you wish). And when he didn't reply AT ALL, I decided to file a lawsuit. It is not my responsibility to come all the way to your store to get an answer from a guy who is trying to get out of the promises he made. -You threatened me with a defamation lawsuit after I left you a review, now you're calling me a fraud here. All I can say is good luck in court REVIEW: I can't understand any of the positive reviews for this service - they tell a completely different story than my recent (Aug 2020) encounter with the way the firm does business. Short Version: Look at the photos, those are taken after the job was done. Flooring material is defective (separated joints, clicking), installation is sloppy (glue sticking out, insufficient materials used to cover floor), and they broke my dishwasher's holding place by not putting it back properly. And after I paid for their unprofessional work, they stopped responding to my text and emails regarding the warranty they promissed. And finally, they kept adjusting the bill to show a higher amount with explanations like: 'it was a mistake in the calculations' or 'kids distracted us when making the bill'. Long Version: 1) The absolutely primary reason I went with this business was the fact that Danny - their salesperson - promised a five year warranty for labour. Even before the flooring was done, the floors were loose and clicking, with visible space between vinyl pieces. I pointed this out before I paid them for labour, and was told 'Just pay for now, wait 4 days for moisture to settle in and you’ll be good; if not, you're covered by our warranty.' Since that time, many weeks later, nothing has been fixed and they’re not returning my emails or text. They literally took their payment and stopped all communication, 'Warranty' or not.. 2) When Danny did the estimate, he told me that all floors would be on the same level (I very specifically asked him to confirm this to me) and that he'd do a nice stair covering / nosing. As soon as he came with his crew, his worker told me that he had to cut my door down because the floor will be higher at the entrance, and that he couldn't do the full step covering for which I was charged full price. I didn’t want my door cut down but his crew did it anyways when I wasn’t around and didn't tell me. I only found out what they did because their work was of such low quality that I could clearly see snapped wood all along the bottom of the door, which they tried to disguise by painting the wood with permanent marker. 3) His workers did not speak good English and Danny did not stay on site to supervise them; I was unable to reliably or effectively correct their work or point out issues as we didn’t understand each other. Even when the business owner was there, he had trouble communicating with them: when he told them to remove stairs in the bedroom, they removed the stairs in the living room and had to reverse and redo their work. 4) Danny further kept changing the bill from what we agreed. We agreed that he'd charge me $200.00 for removing current flooring after I asked for a discount, a significant part of our negotiation, and he simply didn't provide this discount with the excuse that I'd paid by credit card. When I asked if I could pay by card, he definitely made no mention that it would cost me or cancel out the discount. Trying to be accommodating, I agreed to waive the discount to keep the peace; I was thus supposed to pay him $800.00 to $1,000.00 for removal per the quoted price. He instead billed me for $1400.00 with no explanation besides an excuse that he was 'distracted by his kids'. I had to cut this review short as I couldn't fit the rest of the stuff here, but I believe the pictures and the comments paint a clear picture about my experience. On the whole, I had a terrible experience with this company and would not work with them again under any circumstances.
