β β β β β I went to the salon together with my sister. We got our cuts at the same time. We both wanted to get layered haircuts and I showed reference pictures for both, the only difference being the length (long layered for me & medium layered for my sister). I specifically asked to keep the length at the back and cut it no shorter than a centimeter. Before the cuts my hair went down to my waist, now it barely goes past my shoulders. The experience was even worse for my sister. They didn't even ask her what length she wanted, the dresser just grabbed a pair of scissors and cut a hug chunk off before she could even say anything. Her hair went past her shoulders, now it doesn't even reach her chin. To top all that off, out hair looks nothing like the reference pictures I showed. For me there is a minimal amount of layering going on only at the bottom. Meanwhile, my sister's hair looked like it got split into two. Never going back there again.

β β β β β I always ask for Cici herself. She is talented with hair. She has been cutting my hair for over 8 years and I make the long drive to this Bathurst and Steeles location as she is no longer at the Hair Cici location closer to me.
The charge for a shampoo, cut and dry has tripled over that time, with a huge post-lockdown increase, but is still very reasonable, especially given the quality of Cici's work.
I am unable to rate anyone else that works or rents a chair there. Several of them seem to be very competent.
The 1* dock is for the dated decor.

β β β β β They have a few people working there only for a whole salon. And it would take you around 20 mins to get a haircut. Donβt recommend you even try to go there, you will waste your time just waiting.

β β β β β Why do you increase the price? I always come to CICI for after covid you increased from $10 to $13 plus tip and now $16 plus tip without any consideration COVID-19 public health measures such as cleaning table, desk, etc.
If you increase the price, please increase services in order to be tangible to your clients. The customer has the right to know based on which services you raise your price.

β β β β β i went to this place around a month ago. The haircut was good but it was unsanitary. there was hair everywhere even though there were many people working there. It was a bit gross that there was hair pretty much on every common used object there. Hopefully they can improve on cleaning
