★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In 1925, Nels Nelsen propelled himself from one of the ski jump perches high on the inclines of Mount Revelstoke in the Mount Revelstoke National Park, British Columbia. As he cleared out the stage, he inclined forward, towards the tips of his skis. At the point when Nelsen landed he had jumped 240 feet and broken a world record.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enioyed this place !! Great "scrambling" if you use the middle and not the real trail to go on top ! Good view and lots of informations about the records !! You can even fake the ski jump !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow....we didn't know there was a plaque there regarding Jack Roocroft, ski jumper. He is my Dad and is still alive and doing great, at age 93 on October 18th. We will definitely have to plan a trip there for him to see this. He had still been skiing well into his 80's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn't know this existed before visiting. Great story behind the ski jump and you get a really good perspective of how high and steep a ski jump really is. Good workout to get up and down by the direct path too.
