★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The guide was very knowledgeable and the Fort ruins were interesting. The museum was a great history lesson. The gift shop was closed the day we were there as it was a Wednesday late in the season. It was a nice 2 and a half hours.??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice place to visit. It hasn't been rebuilt into a big production, but rather is a preservation of ruins atop a beautiful hill overlooking the water. It gives a glimpse of what life was like in the early 1800's and interesting history of the area. I enjoy visiting here when I can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the history of the fort was interesting. Although the ruins are mostly just stone foundations and very little remains, the site is charming and the views overlooking the water spectacular

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cool if you're into history! Don't be afraid to ask questions of a Parks Canada guide! It's only open during the month of June and it's quite a drive from sault ste Marie, but worth it if you like history and old architecture.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintained and a wonderful view into the history of the colonial times. This museum gives great care in providing credit to all people who were part of the history (from the first peoples to the British soldiers.). Beautiful site. Has direct connection to America’s independence.
