I have not had any good experiences with this company, never have they got a replacement part right, and recently I needed to get a whole new wheelchair, which was s very simple order, however Luke made ordering one last over 5 months and very stressful, eventually I settled with stuff that is not right because I really can't handle dealing with them

This company really stepped up to help us during a very stressful time. They were helpful, professional, and went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed in a prompt manner despite a short week due to the Stat. Thank you to Wade and his team.

justin bearded guy in the pink sweatshirt helped me - stranded monday at mall! i am here from the island visiting my daughter and my chair stopped working. justin was shopping with his wife and came over to me. he got a box of tools from his truck and in a few minutes had me up and movin. he gave me his card and said to call if i have trouble again and i found out after he isnt even working this week and is on vacation. i cant expect something like that every darn time but that shows some real care and concern. when i move here he is my person and this company will be my first call. want more people like him

Tina from Surg Med helped us tremendously as we adjusted to my Mom's new condition of having to be wheelchair bound after a stroke. It was a very hard time and she helped answer questions, give advice and was very compassionate. Surg Med's prices are much lower than other companies in Kamloops for the same products!! Tina has been just wonderful and I'm very impressed with their prices!!

We have found Surge Medical to go above and beyond in customer service. We had purchased a chair from another local company and had terrible service. The chair needed repair after first use. The other company wanted to charge a minimum of $100 to fix it. Surge medical fixed it at no charge and it was not even purchased from them. The original chair did not work for the person it was bought for. We have purchased another chair from Surge Medical. They came and fitted our family member and made numerous fittings to make sure she received a chair that was both functional and comfortable. I am extremely happy with the customer service and follow up we received from Surge Medical. I would highly recommend them.

I went into Surg-Med looking for an air cast. I explained that I have multiple medical conditions and that I needed a product that would immobilize my ankle, provide some arch support and that the ER doctor recommended an air cast. First of all, they had no air casts in stock. Then they showed me the exact ankle brace I was already wearing, which I had just finished telling them was not giving me enough support. Then they showed me orthopedic inserts for my shoes, when I had already told them I needed an air cast. Then they suggested I go to runners sole as they can get "pretty technical" with shoes. I once again repeated I was not looking for a shoe. I then asked if they knew of any other medical supply stores in Kamloops (it would make sense to know your competition....) and after some humming and hawing, the lady told me she couldn't think of any place. I told her I would google it myself, limped out of the store and went to Mountain Medical Supplies where I received excellent customer service and was matched with a product that fit my needs. I was very unhappy with my experience at Surg-med. They did not listen to what I was saying, did not do a proper needs assessment, and could not have been any more unhelpful if they tried.

Absolutely disappointed with these guys! My Dad in the Hamlets had been stood up with a no show 3 times. I have been on the phone with them for hours trying to get an appointment for batteries in his scooter. They diagnosed it and we had an appointment for them to come. Nobody showed up again!! Then I got told they could upgrade the batteries for $200.00 more than the quote was from the technician. After 5 weeks of waiting and getting the run around I called the competition. Guess what , They will be there in 2 hours with the batteries.
