D	Dave Ouellette on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was in a PostOffice outlet in a Shoppers Drug Mart here in Kamloops... they had a fenced off area for customers coming into the postal area that clearly said “Max 4 people “ ... I have some forgiveness when an adult has an infant or toddler but when parents stand in line with 2 teenagers you gotta wonder where their heads are at... and in this case, it brought the total to 7 persons in a 4 person restricted area... I mentioned it to the clerk and she summoned the store mgr ... after a short conversation about why he wasn’t concerned, I told him that as a senior I was offended with the situation and was he following his own guidelines or not? It took him about 5 seconds of reflection (and fear of being reported... although I did not threaten or even mention that) to change his stance and straighten out the situation. Thx to the clerk (who was working her butt off) for not trying to play manager and to the manager who saw the light and did the right thing.

There is never any circumstance to follow customers through the store. Don't open a retail business if you don't want customers going in. My kid noticed immediately and said look daddy, that guy is behind us still, look daddy he is looking at us from there. Did he take it upon himself or a garbage store policy?
R	Reina Wishart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Self checkouts were a good idea and helped reconcile the protocol at Shoppers stores to have one main cashier on who then has to call one or more cashiers if the line goes gets too long. For those of us who like to run in, get 1 or 2 things, and run out, self checkouts are so helpful and make life easier for everyone. Beyond that, this Shoppers has such friendly staff (including in the pharmacy) that go out of their way to make you feel acknowledged and happy. Prices are up there but it's nice to have a store in the neighborhood open until midnight that is protected by a guard as well.

K	Kelly Enns on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm leaving this pharmacy and I'm only posting this review so the dear woman who waited on me today knows that this is not because of her as she had some technical issues. Not her fault. She was a delight. My doctor called in my prescription yesterday, February 24th. I called prior trying to see if they had my insurance on file. I was unable to get through to the pharmacy. I went hours later to pick it up and was told that I now have to call in advance to have the order filled. I asked when this policy changed. I was told March 1st. I asked when was a good time to call because I was unable to reach someone. I was told 9am and noon were less busy. I said I'd be back tomorrow. I had a quick online doctor visit this morning that netted me another prescription to be filled. I called and again, no one answered. I left a voicemail around 10am asking for this to be ready at noon for pick up. My morning went long. I called at 12:30 to make sure voicemail was received. It was not. They are short handed today. Okay... went in anyway since I was enroute already. There were some technical issues as noted above but nothing I could not get over. My insurance was processed and I had a surprising out of pocket just under $40 for generic meds. I get my meds and walk to my car. These people charged me a dispensing fee for each of the three generic prescriptions, one of which was a boxed inhaler... Ridiculous and over the top. I will not be filling additional prescriptions there again.
A	ASH PAT on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I won't be returning to Shoppers Drug Mart again. After reading the reviews here, I also had a simply situation today. Now it seems like an ongoing thing here. I mostly buy all cosmetic from shoppers and collect my points but not this location. The cashier ask me if I need any help and I replied no thank you. She decided to followed me around right behind, I pick two cosmetics item. She told me that she can hold the item at the front counter for me. I reply no then she says are you getting anymore item. I have never expericene this so I was done! There was no customer space. I didn't even bother walking in the aisles. I paid and got out, then I notice there was a price error. Showed it to the Cashier Supervisor named Max. He doesn't apologies for the wrong advertisement. Instead, he tells me it was all placed in wrong and it happens!! He tells me I can return it. It was a $8 difference and it was no a big deal for him! I can't image how many people get Scammed here specially the elders without checking the bill!
D	Danny Bunting on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I paid for an express envelope to mail a card and $50 of presents this Christmas, and gave both the filled out envelope and my letter with the $50 to the post office worker. Two weeks later, my envelope arrived where it was supposed to go, but it was empty. This means that my letter wasn't mailed and the post office lady specifically sealed my express envelope without the letter inside of it, despite having taken both from me. Christmas is a busy time of year, and I heard her telling other customers how busy it was for her personally, but in what world does that make it okay to do that? Whether this happened out of error, or someone wanting my mail, there are 7 other post offices in Kamloops, and I feel confident in saying that none of them would let this happen.
