Best Ferry terminal in Canada

P	Pearly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the very nice bc ferry terminals, it feels like an airport terminal except there is port fee included in your ticket. It was a very busy ordinary day waited 3 hours to get on the ferry to Horseshoe bay. But it was a good experience.
V	Vijay Shivdasani on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a decent waiting room with about 20 seats in the event that you have to wait for a departing ferry or for the arrival of your Vancouver Island Connector bus to take you to your destination on the island. There are clean washrooms and coin operated machines for cold drinks and snacks. But if you want a hot coffee you have to enter the terminal to go to the food court inside. So if you have already exited and waiting for your connector bus then you cannot go back inside. You can buy your ferry walk on tickets and you VI Connector bus tickets at the terminal.
D	Debbie Ramsey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pre purchased tickets are a waist of time & money! Boat was canceled and so was our ticket. Wating at terminal for 5 hours with no garuntee of boarding last ferry. Had to pay again... Missed our hotel reservation which we also still had to pay for. No hotels available! No customer service, no answers from BC Ferries Beyond inconvenient
K	Kalina Malowany on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can there be a better way of communicating if there are 1000s of cars waiting along HWY 1 to get into the terminal?! The online webcams show an empty terminal and the sailing show only as 60% "full". This is super misleading.
e	erin Knight on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An apprent manager moved my moms car 15+ vehicles back to free up a tiny bit of cross walk... assured her it wouldn't be an issue....we missed our ferry by a handful of cars with a 3 year old in tow total hours waited 8.5h now!! I hope you hate yourself if you're so careless with your job.
R	Richard James Milne on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Living in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island it's a joy. It's very important to have options for good transportation too and from the Mainland. I mainly choose to travel with BC Ferries. BC Ferries runs a tight ship when it comes to getting people where they need to go on TIME (excluding extreme weather). BC Ferries "Departure Bay Terminal" is one of the nicest I've been in, and I've been to most! This Terminal is well run, extremely clean, it offers day parking, easy access, bus & taxi services, and all the comforts you would need. Fast express ticketing, coffee stops, lounges, eateries, and shops. I truly enjoy travelling in and out of the Departure Bay Ferry Terminal. The service is great and the views are spectacular. If you are planning a trip to Vancouver Island, I highly recommend you choose one of the Ferry routes through Departure Bay Terminal. Cheers
