★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called today at 3:20 pm to get an annual car inspection (brakes etc) so I got same-day appointment for $65.99 at 4pm.
Once there it was a different story: an apprentice barely greet me and asked the reason of my coming.
After explaining the reason of my appointment, he left to ask for his boss with my annual inspection form.
He came back saying he can only do a verbal car inspection because Mr. Lube is not a big place.
I was just puzzled so I left immediately as they seems to be a scam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Were so incredibly nice to deal with, explained everything to me as they did it. They stayed late to make sure it got done and when they didn’t have the one air filter I needed they ran across to lordco to get it for me even though it was well after closing. Amazing job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I showed up at 4:30 on Sunday and they close at 5:00. It was to be a simple oil change. I waited until 4:50 when the last car was done and then they said they couldn't start another one because it would after 5 when they finished. The tech guy was great but the manager apparently does not know how to manage. If you are a 5:01 kind of guy you shouldn't be a manager, in fact you shouldn't have a job.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've gone to this Mr.Lube a few times and always receive exceptional service. Most recently I was hearing my Serpentine Belt slipping. They checked it out and ran a diagnostic on it. Turns out my belt was in great condition and just needed some tightening. They were very honest about this and did the maintenance on it for me, free of charge. My car sounds much better now. Mr.Lube Abbotsford is my go to location for regular maintenance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edit: The store owner worked very hard to make up for the earlier error, and I really appreciated the effort to come to an agreement, so I have adjusted my rating. I ended up going for another tire change at a place that was ultimately more convenient on the day, but just know that Mr. Lube will work hard to correct any mistake, some real standup staff there.
Got my oil changed which went fine, the guy was nice enough. Also wanted to get summer tires on (off rims). I knew coming in that they were close to being done for good but was hoping they'd last me one more season, assuming they'd refuse to put them on if they thought they were unsafe. The guy makes me aware of the poorer quality and I'm like yeah, I figured, but he says they can still put them on, so I say okay sure, I guess I can wait to buy new tires until next season. Pricing of the tire change was expensive enough, but when I go back to get the free re-torque a different guy comes out and is shocked that they installed the tires, and says he highly recommends new ones, as apparently they're not supposed to install ones this old! Again, I didn't take too close of a look, assuming they wouldn't install them if they were unsafe. But now I find out that I paid an expensive service for tires they shouldn't have installed in the first place, and I'm gonna have to pay for it again plus new tires. Why would they make a point to say 'these tires are getting too old,' install them anyway, and then a week later say, 'oops we shouldn't have installed these. you should pay $650 to fix our mistake.' Guess I should have been more aware, but I would have rather had a mechanic that refused to install unsafe tires. Would have saved me time, money, and stress.
