★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2022. Replaced my front calipers/rotors/pads (myself) due to seized piston... and was feeling lazy so took truck to abby tires for brake bleed/flush because said they could do it and i had a good experince getting an alignment there a year before..
They ended up breaking one or both rear bleed screws and said I needed new rear calipers. So i agreed to have them replace rear brakes since they claimed it was not drivable. Then they told me they couldn't bleed my new front calipers and suggested they were defective and asked me if i wanted them to replace my brand new calipers. I felt uncomfortable with their diagnosis since they already busted some bleed screws....so I decided to end the service and take the truck home. There was no pedal, couldnt build pressure, drove home with almost no brakes. I suspected Master cylinder failure. Replaced master cylinder myself and was able to build pressure. Went to bleed brakes myself, found two bleed screw dust boots missing. Also found One of the front calipers was sucking air through bleed screw threads(hence the reason they couldn’t bleed it) put a little grease around threads and successfully bled the whole system myself.
I don't recommend them for brake work, not sure if it was incompetence or they were scamming me(were the rear bleed screws really seized? I'm not so sure now).... so down graded my rating from 5 to 1 star. If me, an amateur mechanic, can diagnose and repair my brakes better than a "professional" shop, then I'd advise you stay away.
Doubtful I'll return there for any reason. Too bad...had such a good experience with my alignment.
2021. Needed an alignment after I lifted my gmc sierra. They were able to get me in immediately and were very quick and professional. Very happy with service.
