We recently ran over a large bolt, which lodged into our tire. It was a Sunday mid-morning, and Mr Lube was the only place open to visit for tire repairs. My wife dropped in and the service she received was clear, courteous and friendly. I returned days later to have the tire that they had patched torqued and received equally prompt and great service. All this for only $50. The team was great.

Thanks so much to Shawn. We were stuck with a screw in our tire on a Sunday and long weekend no less. Desperate for someone to help. He stepped right up and saved us a 500$ bill for new tires. Very fast and efficient and kind hearted. Thankyou again for your swift service and professionalism

The men working yesterday were all super friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. Before I got into the garage the mechanic asked me to pop my hood so he could begin taking a look. He then explained to me that my battery failed the battery test and that it measured at around 290/550, he told me that sometime soon my car won't start. The mechanic also told me that my power steering fluid is old and that the metal smell it has indicates replacement. He recommended that we flush out the power steering fluid and replace it with fresh stuff, he took the time to explain the negative impact it would have on my vehicle if it didn't get done soon. I almost went through with all the recommendations he made because he made it sound so quick and convenient, however, I decided to wait because I have never had any issues with my vehicle regarding its battery, or power steering fluid. After the oil change, I drove straight to Canadian Tire to get a battery test, the results were printed and it measured 517/550. I’ll give Mr. Lube the benefit of the doubt here and suggest that their reader could've been faulty. However, I went home and checked out my power steering fluid and it did not smell like metal and it appeared to be the average red/pink colour. Did I ask for visual proof of anything he told me? No, but I wish I did. I saved an extra $240 for not trusting what the overly friendly supervisor at Mr.Lube was telling me. I hope this can help other people who don't know a lot about vehicles in the future.

The service was amazing! Andrew and Tyson were very helpful when they noticed that I was missing a dipstick. Andrew went above and beyond when he tried to look for places that may have one available. Tyson was very thorough with communicating the diagnostics of my car. I would recommend this locations specifically.

Fantastic quick service, fixed my tire in five minutes and as it was just the bead that wasn’t sealed they didn’t even charge me. Old time service, will give them my business in the future. Forgot the name of the guy who helped me but it was a dark haired young bearded guy, man deserves a raise. Good on you Mr Lube!

While on a weekend trip to Victoria, the day before I was to go back to Vancouver, I ended up with not one but TWO flat tires on my right side due to road shrapnel. It was a Sunday, so not many tire shops were open. Josh at the Douglas St., Victoria location, told me he could not repair my tire because even if repaired, the tires were too old to be safe (I had already begun this but hadn't replaced them yet). He told me that he could order new tires for me that would arrive the next morning, but was honest that they may not arrive early enough for me to make my 11:00am ferry back to Vancouver. He said if I could find some tires somewhere else and buy them that day, that Mr. Lube could install them the next day at 8:00am. I was able to buy some tires at Canadian Tire, Gordon Head, just before they closed at 5:00pm! I went to Mr. Lube the next day and was in the repair bay at precisely 8:00am. Liam explained he was the only tire changer on staff that day, and he would try to get them installed in 1 hour. He was able to get the old tires off the rims, put new beads on my rims, put the tires on my rims, inflate, balance and mount them in under 1 hour: I paid and was out of there at 8:55am. Made my ferry no problem. I really appreciated your team's honesty, problem-solving and effort. They are humans who care about fellow humans.

The efforts we genuinely appreciate from staff at the Victoria Mr.Lube include the clear and patient communication each team member has provided us, and, the respect team members afford each other. (On our most recent visit) Our service pro. Michael, was really easy to talk to. He was patient when he needed to explain things and, was receptive to feedback from a colleague when approaching an inspection under the hood. His great Customer Service attitude was consistent in the way that he answered the phone, while waiting for our oil change to finish. In addition to checking our tires and wiping the windows while we waited, the staff at Mr. Lube have always offered honest feed-back and advisements about preventive things we could be doing to save $$ over the long haul. The crew have repeatedly demonstrated good communication practices and team-work. We like the practice of their calling out updates to each other and the attention to each other's safety. It is a real indication that everyone there is working together. As it is very close to Uptown, it is conveniently located and easy to find. The service is reasonably priced and the quality of care is an excellent value. We have had check-ups, tire changes and oil changes, and all of the appointments have been quick and easy. The repeat consistency of clear communication and careful attention to the work being done, has resulted in this Mr. Lube becoming our neighourhood Mr. Lube; it's where we go.

I’m not sure what was going on at Mr Lube today, but the service and timing was not to the usual Standard at all. I arrived at 10.03am to have winter tires put on. There was one car ahead of me, already in the bay, and no one else around. A truck had just dropped off some tires. There were 5 staff I noted doing different things. I was told the wait would be 20 minutes. Puzzled, and not offered an explanation why, I agreed to wait . I had to ask for a news paper. I had the coffee I had brought with me, but mine was offered for 20 minutes. While I waited, I saw one staff occasionally work on the vehicle ahead of me, while the others tended to tasks around the shop. No one seemed rushed. It was cold in my car and I was told not to run my engine. At the 20 minute mark, someone offered me coffee. I asked what the delay was. I was told the staff working in the car ahead of me had experienced some issues but was almost done. I asked why I couldn’t be placed in one of the other vacant bays, like previous visits. I was told they only had one operational bay. At that point the owner of the vehicle arrived to take his vehicle. I was then directed to use the next bay (again puzzled because of what I was told earlier) and work began. It has been almost 40 minutes to change my tires. Over an hour in total, and other vehicles have come and gone around me. Again, I am mystified given I was the only other car here in arrival. Certainly not the service I am used to here, and it would be good to speak with A manager about my experience.
