★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Has a wonderful adventure search for the kids that added to the whole experience making it so much more enjoyable from an already awesome piece of history, the largest recommendation is the informative movie they have down in the train area below near the caboose. Whole bunch of old time artifacts throughout the entire ship made this a wonder to know how important this boat was to the area before roads were even developed! Thank you for preserving this and great staff added to this great time with the whole family. Till next time

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A fabulous historical sternwheeler in Kaslo. Well preserved with an informative video at the basement level. I suggest seeing the video first ( we saw it after) for a greater understanding of the parts and functions of this beauty. Staff was very well informed and friendly. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is such a neat experience! Immaculately restored, you really get a sense for how it must have felt to travel on a sternwheeler, back in the day! I really liked the small exhibitions inside, like the one with all the things they found while restoring it, that had slipped down the cracks. Little girl's purses, eye glasses, gum wrappers, pamphlets; they all have a story that brings to life the people who travelled on the Moyie. My 3 year old son and 6 year old daughter loved it as well, and ran all over the place, imagining that they were traveling to parts unknown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kaslo is an amazing little town North of the free Kootenay Lake Ferry..the town rolls up early but it's a very quaint town full of history and you just get a good feeling when here...a little piece of heaven in the Kootenays

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very charming and fun museum to visit. The boat wasn’t exactly my taste of a museum but it was still very interesting to take a look at the mechanics and schematics of the sternwheeler. Admission is fairly priced and the boat provides a nice view of Kootenay Lake and the surrounding beaches.
