β β β β β Nice place to go for a walk or even just chill at the lake. There's also a bike trail along the beach if you are more of a biker.

β β β β β This where the end of the boardwalk and next to the water treatment plant (no smells from there).. it's pretty quiet here and the view of the lake and city is as good as at Woodbine beach. I would prefer to come here rather than to a more then just busy beach/tourist area. Good to just relax, enjoy the sun and views. It's just missing the ice cream truck! :)

β β β β β We went on the weekend (close to the evening) and it was still crowded).
We were able to park in the street close to the beach entrance.
The beach was clean. There was a nice view. The water didnβt look very nice, but it didnβt seem that dirty neither.
Nice walk too. There were a lot of dogs.

β β β β β Very beautiful place to visit, especially during the sunset... Grab a coffee and come take a stroll by the waters during the magic hour.

β β β β β It was like a hidden gem right beside the Woodbine beach.
We knew Woodbine after lockdown and on a weekend wasnβt a good idea. The people you see on the opposite side in the photos are on woodbine beach. While searching around we found this place and it was perfect!
Clean beach, gorgeous scenery, tons of seating places, relatively clean washrooms and with very few people around you (unlike woodbine where youβd get suffocated).
The only issue was parking - we had to wait for 15-20 minutes for a car to leave but other than that it was a wonderful evening spent there with friends playing sports (tons of volleyball nets), dipping feet in the water and just enjoying the scenery.

β β β β β Hey humans,
Here's another review for you, hope you're having a good day,
So we went out for a walk and I suggested this place because I've never been.
And being the winter I think this beach would definitely be appreciated in warmer weather, to get the full experience.
However, it's a huge boardwalk, and beach front. So there are not shortage of nice spots to relax, and take it all in..
Lots of fun things for the kids to do, random street entertainment which I could definitely appreciate, and oh yeah there is a beach, so there are numerous possibilities for things to do.
Great place to relax, any time of the year, personally love being near the water, and there is definitely no shortage of that!!
Anyway, that's all for now, definitely recommend you check it out for yourself, when you have the chance.
Until next time,
Cheers,
Akil
