★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quick and friendly takeaway. Burgers and chicken strips, fabulous sourdough buns, and ice cream. Casual crowd-pleasing spot. And if you ask nicely, they'll even deliver over the fence while you enjoy a pint at Angry Hen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a fast food production with a lot of fryer type choices. We had the fish and chips and they were enjoyable but not anything more memorable. The orders are taken while standing at a window and all seating is outside about 1/2 under cover. All of the seating offers amazing views of the Selkirks and Kootenai lake. Nice and friendly staff

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Underwhelming basic quality food on polystyrene plates.
Nothing bad, but was looking forward to a decent burger and onion rings. What I got was a processed white bun and cheap ingredients from a grumpy chef.
Patio space is nice, and I imagine fun with some music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ EXTREMELY low efficiency. Order takers leave for about 5 minutes in between each order, and leave you to wait in the boiling sun, assuming you go during summer. Wait time to receive your food will be around 20 minutes... in the only fast food restaurant for 2 hours in any direction. Food quality is extremely low, using the cheapest version of all ingredients. AND on top of it all, the food is quite needlessly expensive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is the best! The food is incredible, the service is kind and the servings are big! Not to mention the scenery! I get the mountain burger with a fried egg, large onion rings and a gravy, butbdont overlook the wagel! No better way to enjoy Kaslo than an ice cream on the beach!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came in Kaslo late Saturday night and this was one of the only places open. We ordered a variety of burgers and ice cream and were lip-smacking surprised at the freshness and delicousness of the food. For a resort area, the burgers are reasonable. Just watch out for obnoxious tourists...they will barge in on your nice dinner by making loud comments on ice cream flavors.

It appears that the new owners are using it as a kitchen for the bar next door. Kaslo has lost the only real family friendly, family priced eatery so that the local boozerie can serve food.
