★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I agreed this trail was categorized as difficult level because of many narrow trails, loose gravels and tree roots along the trail in addition to its elevation gradient. It would be slippery during and after raining. We hiked on Oct.4 , 2021 and was lucky that we saw the golden larch at peak time. There was lots of parking spots on Monday.
