★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We snow shoed on the trail at 16 below celsius with a clear blue sky. It was a gorgeous trail. Suitable for beginners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ About 35 minutes loop trail at a reasonable pace. We spotted some golden cascade ground squirrels and a bunny. And several types of birds. At one end of the trail there is a campground with pit toilets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took the trail to Windy Joe trail. This was a 17km trek and the 1st 2km's through Canyon Nature were the prettiest. Ok Windy Joe summit was spectacular as well. In between was ok

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved the Nordic cross country package from nearby Manning Park resort, which is within walking distance from the cabins. Our youngest daughter held up pretty well for her first day xc skiing. The trails are over 1km in distance, making for a decent xc experience. We'd do it again! The scenery is spectacular.
