One of the worst mobility places I have come across.Stay clear of Andrea,she will tell you anything to grab a purchase.Not only was the wheelchair I ordered 3 weeks late from the initial date but the mobility tech who was to fit the chair to my mom just dropped the chair at the care home and just walked away leaving it to us to adjust the chair properly to fit her needs.Very unprofessional service,,stay clear of A1 MOBILITY in Langley unless your into alot of stress and disappointment.

If I could give this place -10 stars I would. They sold us a wheelchair with a faulty brake system and sent the ‘qualified tech’ to fix it and they openly lied and said the chair was fine, when we hired a private person to look at it, and they confirmed that I was correct about the faulty brakes. They were overly rude, do nothing in a timely manner, and to top it off, they don’t have consistent management on staff to assist with customer issues. This is now leaving my 75 year old, amputee, grandmother without a wheelchair for at least a weekend, with no means to even take herself to the washroom... Talk about customer service. If anyone in BC knows the # for the business beureau there, I would appreciate a comment of the phone number. Side note, they also had their staff, like Dan, give themselves a 5 star review on here to drown out the other negative reviews, one in particular, also about the brakes on their products. Who’s going to pay the bills when someone gets hurt in a faulty product?

do not purchase from these people !!!! they charge for upgrading to a more accommodating scooter size & provide the worst customer service imaginable ! TRI CITY SCOOTERS will provide you with your needs without charging these so called extra's !!! Kelly Thompson is the most liked & will always be liked !!! as for scooter repairs ? Trevor needs to take some courses as to repair correctly !! Watch ouit for these people ! they won't even let you post without clicking a star ? they should have negative stars !

I took my mother's walker in for an estimate because the brakes were not working. QUOTES $462.80... Really....I can buy a new one. I do not think they actually looked at it they just want us to buy a new walker. I took it to SHOPPERS HOME HEALTH $58.20 for a new handle complete with brake. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I feel They take advantage of the disabled. The only reason for the one star is the gentleman that was assisting me seemed quite helpful.

Absolutely hands down 1 of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with, and Andrea Smyrski the “Office Manager” is rude and has Zero customer service skills. If I could give anything less than 1 star I would. This company should be shut down for how they treat customers and especially the fact that they deal with elderly and disabled people is frightening. My situation started when I called a different company to get a mobile technician out to fix my uncle’s wheelchair and the company didn’t have a mobile technician so they said try “A-1” so instead of looking into the company (reading reviews first) like I normally would I just looked up the contact for “A-1 Wheelchairs” and called and unfortunately it wasn’t until later that I discovered that to be a BIG mistake! If you are reading my review and still considering using this company please read more reviews cause had I done that I would have never called. There is awful reviews for them on Yelp, BBB, Google, FB and more and I am not surprised after my experience. I called for a mobile technician and instead they sent out a “Dan” a sales rep who my uncle said was not personable at all and didn’t say much to him and just took the chair. My uncle being a senior and not very vocal or independent didn’t know what was going on since I am the one who takes care of most things for him and had told him a mobile technician was coming to fix his chair so he called me right away and told me what happened and I called A-1 right away cause I didn’t understand why a man came to my uncle’s home with no tools and no explanation of what was going on and just took the chair and left. When I called Andrea answered and had no clue what I was talking about and said there was no technician scheduled to go out and nothing coming up under my name or my uncles name?! I asked to speak to a manager and she said she is the manager (oh great!) so your the manager and you have no idea what’s happening with an appointment I scheduled through your company? After some back and forth and putting me on hold she says “we sent a sale tech cause you were scheduled for a pick up” I explain to her exactly how the booking went and that I was clear in my booking with Ashley that I wanted a mobile tech and NEVER ONCE was a pick up mentioned or discussed. She insists I am wrong and that they don’t have a mobile tech that can deal with electrical on sight and that just like a car it would have to be brought in to diagnose and that I wouldn’t find a mobile technician anywhere that could do it on sight. Well that’s just simply not true cause I did and he met me at A-1 to help me retrieve the chair after Andrea said “ I will shove the chair outside and leave it there” because I wasn’t willing to go through with any process with them and was not willing to pay for them taking the chair cause I did not book for that! So LONG story short (since that isn’t even half of what I went through with this company but you can only write so much in a review) is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I found Curtis from Tri City Medical and in less than 30mins of me calling their company Curtis had met me at A-1 to retrieve the wheelchair that A-1 took and had for 3days already and accomplished Nothing except a whole bunch of lies, excuses and yet Andrea claimed they have the best technician in the Business?! Yet Curtis an actual “Mobile Technician” had my uncles chair fixed and running within hours of retrieving it and had it not been for my last minute call I know it would have been faster since the only issue was the batteries and the charger and the second Curtis looked at it he was able to tell me that. So if A-1 even had a good technician to send out then this would have been an easy fix on sight and A-1 didn’t even attempt to have the work done on sight like I requested and booked for and after taking my uncles chair they were still trying to do a full diagnostic on it when the issue was clear as day to Curtis. So I don’t know what A-1 was trying to pull but I am warning you do not use this company for anything

i recently purchased a helio c2 wheelchair from them they had a guy named dan who was supposed to be a wheelchair tech but i found out he is just a salesman they totally fit me with the wrong chair they came and picked it up took it to there shop said they would nadjust it. but it was the same when it came back after a few of these no fixs i gave up on them and used it for parts to fixup my old one i wish i would have read the reviews on the place first there was a situation just like mine i will never bug from there again it was a nightmare with bad results

After reading the negative reviews I came to the conclusion that those people couldn't have dealt with A-1 and especially Andrea. She is more than awesome! I have been dealing with them for years on behalf of my Dad. Thank you Andrea for all your help over the years.
