★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disorganized and way behind schedule.
We waited for an hour before getting in the Go Karts, despite having a reservation. We had paid for two races, but had to get out of the Karts and wait for our second race because of a private group (who arrived more than 30 minutes after us). The private group were allowed to do two races alone, even though their second race only had four participants. All of this while ten people stood waiting to race.
We were there for more than two hours for what should have been twenty minutes of Karting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great time go-karting, although paintball was the worst experience ever in my life, even though it's coming from a first-timer. Employees were very unorganized and couldn’t figure out how to sort out two different teams, even though first graders can take not more than 1 minute to figure this out. How embarrassing. The paintball field itself, I get that the muddy floor is cool, making it look or feel like an actual war field—however, there is no reason for it to be there. Furthermore, it's best to have a referee on the field whenever the paintball activity goes on because many people aren't taking this as seriously as they should be—the worst experience of my life.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived with a reservation for karting to be told that they were running 45 minutes late. Would have been nice to have been informed prior to arrival. Paid for two races, but a group who arrived afterwards completed their two races and left before us. Not sure how their reservation system makes any sense. Staff are too young and apathetic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for a bachelor party and was greeted by employees that were dismissive, untrained, and unprofessional. We came in with an online reservation and was told that the system booked us in an order of events that wasn’t allowed. So instead of going paint-balling, we did an escape room, which had broken AC and an employee that didn’t come to give us clues when we requested it.
After the escape room, we had to wait almost 2 hours after our booking time for go karting. It wasn’t feasible to leave because they said there are no refunds. The go karting itself was alright, but the employee slapped my hand when I was trying to adjust my seat.
Overall, this place should be out of business for its lack of decency and employees that are unqualified and untrained to work with humans

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is for the Xcape rooms in Hochelaga location. First off, the website is AWFUL and difficult to navigate, reserve, the Sorcerer game was on the site but not even available IRL making it confusing when trying to book, no information on difficulty level, but that's not what I'm evaluating.
The rooms here are TINY, I wouldn't bother booking here tbh. It was fun, sure, and although we successfully completed some tasks and it wasn't obvious to us that it opened or revealed something. I understand now why it's 6 max, it was TIGHT in there. We were lead to a go kart or paint room and all of a sudden there were 3-4 trailers. I was really hoping that this was the beginning of the escape room and not the actual room.. but it was the actual room. And it was actually only HALF the trailer. I'm used to playing an escape room where one room leads to another but this literally was 1 half of a trailer. I had a lot of fun at the Dorval location which was huge, if you're in the city, I'd suggest booking elsewhere like AMAZE or make your way to the other XCAPE locations.

KARTING
came for the karting and it was so much fun. Electric, clean and quiet but fast! 70km/hr that punches when you hit the gas.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best track ever. The karts are electric and don't worry the battery does not die they are amazing. The tires grip a lot so it is amazing to take some corner just by lifting, the race track is perfect for indoor there are two. I did one of them as it was weekday but then the other one is weekend but it looks amazing. Recommend it for a big friend group also as it would be fun to do this and the challenge or even me alonejust to get time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Managed by kids... Lacks a little structure or safety protocols. Helmut are not wiped or sprayed down. The large circuit seems great at first but then realize they cut it in half for the customers. No one supervises the race so expect being t-boned by first time aggressive drivers or inexperienced boys trying to prove something to their friends. If it wasn't for the new fast electric karts I would rate it a 1 star.
