About Millennium Dental

Christa has been with Millennium Dental for 15 years and in the field of dentistry for 16 years. She decided early on that she wanted a career in dentistry because she wanted to help people maintain their oral health. She is motivated by a desire to help patients lead healthier lives and loves educating them on how best to care for their teeth and gums.

One of the things she likes most about Millennium Dental is its progressive approach to dentistry. Doctors and staff work hard to stay on top of the latest procedures and technologies, allowing them to offer patients specialized services and the very latest in dental treatments.

Christa is a fitness buff, and can often be found playing golf or skiing in her spare time. She is also an avid reader, and appreciates few things more than finding time to settle down with a good book.

The staff at Millennium Dental are knowledgeable and professional. I have been seeing Dr. Lakhani for many years and he continually provides excellent care. He has gotten to know my family and I and always makes a point to take some time to ask how we are. He is honest with the care options he recommends and makes sure the patients understand those options fully.

Adding to my original post below; I have now done a sleep assessment and have been using my TMJ device for a few weeks now. Best decision I ever made! Not only is my jaw no longer clicking regularly, but I’m sleeping much better as well! So thankful that I’m at this dentist and have the support and knowledge from them to make decisions, but also not feel forced into anything. I have been going to Millennium Dental for years and now my husband and children do as well. All staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable; I’ve always felt as though they are not just taking care of my teeth, but my overall health as well! They have really gone above and beyond to make everyone feel so safe during the pandemic as well!

Went to this dentist office earlier in December with what I thought was a loose crown. After a quick peek in my mouth and an xray it was determined that I had actually broken the tooth and it had become infected as well. I was told that I would need to take a course of anti-biotics before they could do anything and it was recommended that I undergo some teeth cleaning to avoid potential further infection once they could address the broken tooth. 2 appointments were made at this time I also explained that my current work situation made it very difficult to attend any appointments made between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Prior to my first appointment I was contacted numerous times offering to " fit me in for extra cleaning due to cancelations, everyone of these cancelations were between the hours I explained were not readily available but the focus seemed to be on getting the max out of my insurance and not on my well being. I attended the first appointment and was subjected to a series of further x-rays (not sure why we knew the tooth was broken already) the hygienist was very nice and did do a nice job of starting to clean my teeth. I expecting the next appointment that I had already booked would be more of the same however at the end of the appointment I was informed that the second appointment was meant for the broken tooth to be extracted but now the dentist (whom I have yet to actually meet or speak with) will not do the extraction and I am being referred to another dentist. At this point I've been living with a loose broken tooth for a month and now it will be another 2 weeks before I even speak with the next dentist as it's Christmas season. There is no further mention of appointment for cleaning and I'm sent packing to wait for contact from the referred dentist's office. when I get home and look through the referral I find that I've been referred to a dental surgeon for an implant! At no point was this discussed or recommended. I contacted the surgeon the next day and was informed that the procedure that my dentist has suggested will be aprox $7000.00. I do have decent insurance but certainly not good enough to cover this in total. Thankfully the surgeons office was very understanding and rebooked me for the extraction. In the end 6 weeks later my tooth has been extracted (the procedure took all of 20 mins and the surgeon admitted that there was no need to refer me to a surgeon in the first place) Since my original visit Millennium Dental has reinvoiced my insurance on multiple occasions. I am uncertain as to why but given the level of incompetence I suspect I will be dealing with this in the future in one way or another In closing I sure hope millennium Dental managed to extract enough $ from my insurance to cover whatever expenses they seem so focused on. Perhaps the can use some of the money to hire staff that is a little more focused on the patient rather than the invoice total.

I have been going to Millenium Dental for years and have always received excellent care. I have had several hygienists, and felt they all do an exemplary job. I would recommend this office. Dr Lakhani takes the time to get to know me and shows a genuine interest in my family.

Always a good experience! Mind you I listen to their advice and brush and floss regularly ?. The kids and I have been going here for over 15 years and it has always been a good experience - whether it is cavities, crowns or bridges! Competitive in price, respectful, pleasant and always professional. Can’t beat a good smile!

Dr.Shariff and Glenda have been amazing. I have always been terrified of dentists but they have worked with me on overcoming those fears and anxiety by building trust in them and the work that they do. They have done an excellent job with my teeth and their personalities make the experience less intimidating. I recommend them to anyone.
