I went in for an oil change on January 7th 2022, they found a major transmission leak which I'm quite happy about as my warranty will cover it, on the negative side come January 8th I noticed a major oil leak and brought the truck back, after diagnosis they told me I had a cracked oil filter housing, when I asked what causes that they told me it happens because it was tightened too much and proceeded to hand me a 1600 dollar estimate, they're the only shop I've ever taken the truck and I have full belief they caused the housing to break and wanted me to fork out the 1600 to fix it, won't be returning.

Go a quote online, Andrew followed up by email inviting me to make an appointment (awesome communication). They were freindly, prompt and thorough. I will definately be going back for other services!

Terrible experience... I took my car for some specific problem and they came to me with a huge list of parts that need to be changed . I understand it was an old car and is logical to have multiple things to check . However doesn't make sense pretending to make a $ 6, 000 repair when the car's price is around $ 1, 500 cad and is not polite to refuse working on the specific problem the car had just beacuse you want to make more money. Simply is not ethical, professional and logica . They were happy to just give me a quotation instead of make a good work. Thank you for nothing .

So far I've had my brakes done, tires changed over (off rim) and had an oil change done. Impeccable service and friendly staff. They helped me when I was in a bind with my brakes and got me in right away. And I made an appt for the tire change, everything was done on time and the quality of work was great.

Today I had very bad experience at Midas. I came for break service and I didn't have any issue with ABS. After they service my car, the ABS light came up and I asked them why is that. They replied they did rear break service and because of that the sensor might shake and the ABS light came up. They refused to fix it for me and provide me an estimate for fixing ABS signal issue. After paying $650 for break service, I was not interested to spend any more money. When I refused to pay and requested to fix the ABS sensor issue, the technician was very rude and refused to do that. I asked for manager and he also refused to fix the ABS sensor for my car. This is very unprofessional for a brand like Midas. They are not even felt guilty for such damage they did for my car. I should have call police and ask for help on this.

Incredibly pleased with the service from Midas! We were able to quickly get our car looked at. And seemingly even faster to have it assessed and fixed! We will be going back for any future car troubles!

Andrew was very thorough in getting vehicle diagnosed as a first time customer on April 20th, got the rear brakes serviced, replaced oil and swapped tires in a little over a couple hours. Spent a little more than expected but most probably was due as car wasn't serviced entirely for a few years. Staff super polite and explain importance of certain components etc. Would recommend and likely to return as a customer :)

I took my vehicle to Midas Oshawa after receiving an inflated quote for repair services from another vendor. From my first outreach via their website, my experience was 5 star. I received a reply to my online query within 10 minutes quoting a much more realistic price. I was advised of the next available appointment and dropped my car off. I was offered courtesy transportation home. They were able to service my car promptly (even more quickly than the original quoted appointment date). Andrew was professional and courteous and the repairs completed efficiently at a much more realistic reasonable cost exactly as quoted. I highly recommend Midas Oshawa based on this interaction and I will be returning for regular maintenance in the future. This is Customer Service! Thank you again!
