Do not come here to return items. Even if it follows the return policy guidelines. You will be told initially you cannot and forcibly guided to receive a credit instead. You will walk away with a headache and in my case question ever purchasing online with this company again. I don't know how they train their supervisor/manager/clerks and if this is restricted to just this location. But this is completely unwarranted and unprofessional. Beware for your own peace ✌. A simple return resulting in so much unnecessary stress.

I was at the store doing a return yesterday. It was a long wait outside as only 9 persons were permitted in the store. Its a shame because its a very large store. I think it's silly that the clothing stores cannot have the same customer volumes as the grocery stores. Never the less the return went very smoothly. Michelle, the store manager, was lovely to deal with and I will definitely return once everything opens up fully again.

A few weeks ago went to this location to return a jacket I purchased during the third lockdown. The woman assisting me very rudely said β€œI can’t return this it was purchased so long ago” (her tone was extremely aggressive and condescending). I responded with β€œwell it was during the lockdown”, to which she said β€œit’s been 3 weeks that we’ve been open”, I explained that I have a baby and didn't want to be stuck in long lines waiting to return something during the first week or two after reopening. She then glanced at my packing slip and said β€œyou live 3 minutes from here, a baby is no excuse”. After I picked my jaw up off the floor I told her that I was blown away by how rude she was being and that she absolutely could refund the jacket. She condescending told me she’d do it β€œthis time” and continued to aggressively explain the store policy. Honestly, I can’t say I’ve ever been spoken to more rudely in my life. It is difficult to impart just how awful her tone was. On my way out I asked her name and she proudly told me β€œI’m the store manager”. I called my friend to tell her about what happened and she told me she had a bad experience at that location as well. She went there to look for a gown for an event and was told β€œwe don’t carry much in your size” because she is plus sized. I see I am not the first person here to leave a review about this manager. Seems like she feels a little too important because she's the store manager of a Melanie Lyne Outlet in Cambridge.

I would give more stars if I could. The service today was above anything I could have expected with very helpful sales staff, especially Gertie. Staff were all pleasant, gave helpful suggestions and opinions, and made my day shopping for a mother-of-the-groom dress such a joy. The store had a fabulous selection of regular priced clothing, as well as many discounted pieces. When I'm in the area again, I'll be back!

Instead of saying welcome, hi, or anything, she looked and started to guess how much I worth from top to the bottom, and then with the attitude that I wish she would be treated herself wherever she goes told me "SANITIZE YOUR HANDS". well, you better learn that if I'm not spending my money on my regular clothes doesn't mean that I can't afford shopping from you guys. Hope someone put her in her place, I felt the "Pretty woman" came to the reality. SHAME ON YOU

I was shopping recently at Melanie Lyne Cambridge as I needed a dress for a funeral. I was lucky enough to have Lucia look after me and she was so patient and kind bringing me dress after dress that were not quite right for me! Lucia always stayed positive and then suggested a blazer and skirt for the occasion. We finally settled on a beautiful suit look that is so more my style and is perfect for my work life too, Lucia was also wearing a beautiful scarf which I love and she taught me different ways to wear them. Christina was also gracious and kind and helped with an order for a purchase to my home. Can’t thank you enough Lucia for going above and beyond. Melanie Lyne is my new favourite store! ?

I have been in the Cambridge, ON store a few times and it's the same experience every time. I am completely ignored every time I visit. Not one sales person says hello when I enter, and I have never been asked if I needed any assistance. This store has very poor customer service!! They pick and choose who they are friendly with as the staff made quite a commotion when a couple of ladies (who I'm assuming are regular customers) entered the store. Business must be good if they pick and choose who they assist.

stay away from Cambridge, Ontario location. I went to return 2 items. one purchased in store, one online. The sale associate ( who I'm assuming was this store manager) was incredibly rude and degrading. she made me feel dirty as she was persistent the dresses I was bringing back were dirty and used. May I add all tags were intact with original receipts , I tried these dresses on and that's that. to make this story shorter. she did not want to return anything but i asked her to call head office to have them assist us in this matter. she then agreed to return but made it known she would have to get the dresses dry cleaned ( they were fine!!!! I will never step foot into this store again and will continue to tell my experience. like another reviewer said ( this was similar to the movie "pretty women") I feel Melanie Lynn should not have someone representing their company with this much tasteless class. STAY AWAY especially from Cambridge location i do give it a 1 star because I did get my money back and learned never to go there again- utterly shocking and offensive
