M	Manny Melo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Watch out for the grumpy old guy that invents "leave your bag at the door" policies because he doesn't like how you look. It's okay I haven't been back. And I never will be. EDIT: this happened a couple of years ago. I dropped my five star rating to one because Google brought this review to my attention for some reason.
C	Charline Leblond on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a bigger Independent store than many around, but because of the reasons listed below, I prefer to shop across the street at Loblaws. The store feels crowded and unorganized, and even though the store seems like a big Independent, the selection is not great. The staff is not particularly friendly and not helpful. Often enough, the PC offers in store don't register on your card at checkout, and even though the store is aware of it, but they don't seem to care as every time, you get a shrug-off from the employees and a "Contact PC Optimum".

Every item I wanted the prices were outrageous . Given the high cost of groceries I’m very aware of a great price , current average price and extortion . This store was extortion on most . For example , a small bag a cheese curds runs about 5-6$ at farm boy and food basics , large one about $8. This store sells the smaller bag for $7.79. That’s just one example and there were many more. This store got me for necessity today but I will not return ever .

I find it funny that a lot of times they don't have regular products found at other grocery stores but they have lots of really weird stuff and a large Pharmacy section. Meat from this store is good and the butchers are happy to help you out. Produce can be spotty as far as quality goes. That's more of a chain than store issue.

He had his nose exposed and was speaking with a fellow employee. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. The owners MUST provide clear direction on how masks should be worn. Customers are at risk in this store. I will not be shopping at this store unless/until the owners acknowledge this problem and reply with an appropriate response to this review.
