Great apartments! I have lived here since it opened (~5 years) and it has been a fantastic place to live. It is right across from Save on Foods and several restaurants and it's located right next to the Corona LRT Station. The units are modern and look great and the rents are pretty competitive. They are cat friendly (up to two I think) with a small non-refundable deposit. The management staff have always been great! I moved from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom and they let me move in early so I wouldn't have to store my furniture elsewhere. They've also been quick to respond to any maintenance requests. A few negatives: The units do not have air conditioning (although it is possible and permitted to attach a portable unit to the window but that will require a custom attachment on the A/C as they are crank windows). It can get pretty hot during the spring/summer/fall without A/C so I'd recommend looking into it. Parking is not managed by them and is pretty expensive (~$250/month) but it is underground and heated. Elevator doors close pretty slowly (yeah this is a bit of a nitpick). Overall I'm very happy to have lived here.

The best place to live in downtown. I have been living there since 2012 as it is a wonderful place to live; very nice and new building with new and high quality appliances, central, clean, safe, on-site excellent management, much less rent since it is a city project aiming high quality standards for low-income people. The tenants are nice and quiet since I needed quiet place as a PhD student. The latest managers are amazing. I have been busy with my work and with tasks related to moving London but Aleksandrina who is one of the managers kindly listens and helps every time I approach to her, resolves every problem about my moving out smartly in a way that would work best for me. She is a very nice person and hardworking building manager. I recommend Mayfair Village South to everyone that wants a nice place to live in Edmonton!

Guys trust me, this place is terrible The management is rediculous especially the leader of the office called Julie? Be careful when you talk to her and always remember to record your conversation. She always seems really nice and pretend to be on your side. Once the things happened, she suddenly denied everything she said and trying to escape from the responsibility. I've been living in this building for 10months. The buzz are not working all the time. One out of two Laundry machines on the floor are not working all the time. I've been stucking in the elevator once and called 911. And two months earlier there's a fire happened on my neighbor. The office promised to move me to a new unit in the beginning, then keep changing their mind Because my lease only have 2 months left. So after keep asking when can I move for a week. They finally told me they didn't save a unit for me. Okay, then I agreed to move out and finish my lease 2 months earlier. They said they are not gonna charge me any rent or deposit. But when I got my deposit cheque, they only returned half! And charged me for the half month rent? They denied everything they said and start escaping from the problem. This is the worst place and humanity I have seen ever

There is a mandatory $50 fee on top of rent for a laundry room that is not cleaned or maintained. All that they care to keep looking nice is the lobby. You will have to ask management mulitiple times to have anything done.

Covid-19 safety protocols are not enforced in common areas/public spaces. Mask mandates are not enforced and mandatory signage is not posted. Manager Julie not helpful in this regard. Complaints will be made to Alberta Health Services.

One of the best experiences ever! I have lived at this place on two separate occasions. The building itself is beautiful and in a fantastic location, on top of that the management is incredible. Julie (the property manager) has always been friendly and talked to her tenants like family. Any issues have been addressed quickly and professionally (unlike other building in the area from my experience). I started in this building in 2018, when I moved out the following year I regretted it. I moved back in 2020 and Julie still remembered me and welcomed me back. These modern apartments have given me some of my favourite years. Any negative reviews I have read on here seem like issues out of the staffs hands. Downtown is a hard place to live, but I assure you it is hard to come by better management than this! If you are looking for a reliable, secure place to live, I would highly recommend this one!

I moved into the Mayfair South just before all this COVID stuff in February 2020, so I have been living here for over a year now. Building Management is awesome ( Julie & Vic ) they always respond to my concerns promptly and address any issues I have ( I can be demanding ), they are very friendly and professional which I appreciate very much! I have lived a few places downtown and unfortunately it is very easy to come across scummy landlords who don't care about the client, so it was very refreshing when I moved in here to professional management ( Julie & Vic) that genuinely cares about me & gives me peace of mind. The price is awesome especially for the area, ( heart of downtown ) as most other places charge MORE for a old, dumpy apartment. Very bus and LRT friendly which is great for me as I don't drive. The bus stop is right around the corner on Jasper Ave and the Corona station entrance is just outside the alley. The apartment itself is very modern and sleek, very gorgeous apartment that is cat-friendly! The building has security guards who patrol it regularly at night which is an added bonus. The neighbours here are quiet and respectful and I have met some new friends in the lobby which is nice especially since I am generally not outgoing and usually keep to myself. The Mayfair South is a hidden gem in plain sight and I am proud to call it my home.

One of the best affordable apartment in Edmonton downtown, in my opinion. Good local for public transportation, grocery stores like Save on food. Vic has been very helpful! I would recommend to friends.
