Service: 1 star - brought a three year old 13,000km Subaru in for buyout safety inspection and transfer; service advisor UP SALE on engine air and cabin air filter change. No big deal, I can argue "Inspect engine & air cabin filters - replace if necessary" starts at 24 months, but also 40k, I got less then half the mileage. I thought whatever, given them some extra business. Note that parts and labour of the two filters change is not covered in safety which is understandable. When I picked up the vehicle, I saw a new cabin air filter on the passenger seat and was confused. It was 6pm, dark and cold so I just drove home. On the weekend, I Googled where is the cabin filter located. Popped down the glove box and pulled it out. Took me twenty seconds. I found a dirty cabin filter installed with dandelion heads. It was in the middle of January in Toronto and I am sure there was no dandelion floating around for those few days. Markham Subaru charged me LABOR for a simple filter change (fine) but without actually changing it (not fine). I called back the week after and was told they will credit me next time I bring the car back for service. There will be no next time. If they can't even change a cabin filter, how will I trust them with any other service... Lease buyout: 3.5 stars - transfer the file from Subaru Financial Services to Markham Subaru due to their low lease buyout fee (was told $499, end up to be $509). Had to connect with manager 4x. 1) Documents via e-mail; 2) in person drop off vehicle for safety; 3) pick up the vehicle and the UNEXPECTED 4) come back in two days to pickup the ownership (had to drive without ownership for two days...is this how buyout works?)

We had a fantastic experience with Markham Subaru and especially Faye Domingo. Faye was very understanding of what we were looking for, accommodating, very knowledgeable and so kind and patient. Especially since we had to bring our two young kids with us to the dealership. She was able to get us into the car we needed months ahead of schedule. We were Ble to drive away with our Ascent, waiting less than a month. Which is so rare these days. As for the vehicle itself, we are so beyond happy with our Ascent. Highly recomend it.

Had a good buying experience with Ollie Rocha of Markham Subaru. He is a consummate professional. We knew which vehicle we wanted (2022 Outback Wilderness). We were surprised to receive it earlier than expected given long lead times be experienced in the supply chain.

I started with Markham Subaru 5 years ago when I moved to the area and wanted servicing for my car. I was very pleased with the service hence when I was looking for a new car, it was logical to shop here. Bought a new car here and didn't wait that long for delivery (given the current supply problems everywhere). The sales process was very professional and easy thanks to Carlo and Ollie. Car was delivered on time and the review of car features and operation was excellent, best in my many car purchases over the years. I recommend Markham Subaru to anyone looking for a great car. It is not the biggest dealership but it more than makes up for it in its excellent sales and service.

The most important element of the sales experience for me at Subaru Markham was the transparency that the team provided and the willingness to provide any documentation (lease agreement, bill of sale) requiring signature well in advance of the vehicle pickup. So when I arrived, no surprises and no need to spend time pouring over documents with time pressures. Thanks to Ollie (sales) and David (business manager) for a seamless vehicle delivery experience. Both made time to make the sales and lease experience the most painless I have experienced leasing a vehicle

Tonia provided excellent service and was able to address all my questions. She took extra care in ensuring the work was done on time and even offered alternative arrangements while my car was in service. While the service offerings can be expensive, I can speak to the quality of the work and have personally felt the positive impacts of the level of service, maintenance and quality parts. They are also willing to leverage technology to provide you with photos, texts, and bookings. Prices are fair and Markham Subaru has always been transparent about their pricing plans and service menu. Highly recommend taking your vehicle to be serviced here.
