★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was Recommened to maplevac by several neighbours on my street that have either bought from them or had service done. i also read these 2 negative reviews and was weary about them coming to our house...until i met them of course. Frank came to the house and completely explained everything in full detail (as i know nothing about vacuums lol). he was patient with me as i asked a lot of questions. i had issues with my installation as the previous home owner had got it installed before i moved in. frank fixed it with ease as he explained to me he had been doing this for over 20 years!! haha great personality and really maked me happy about getting it fixed by the right company. Frank if u see this... I TOLD U I WOULD WRITE A REVIEW TO SHOW MY THANKS!!! thanks again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware! This company gives faulty central vacumms and they don't stand by their products. When we used it the first time it stopped working in the middle of using it. We called Maplevac and they said they will send someone but they would have to charge us. Are you kidding me? We have a warranty too. We also called Fred ( the person that installed it) and he ignored our calls. Another red flag. Do yourself a favour and find a different company to purchase a central vacuum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The installer was knowledgeable, but company is expensive. Charged $250 per outlet regardless of time it took to install. Installer was there less than 4 hours and changed $750. I had them come back to extend the one outlet 1.5 inches (not their mistake) and they charged me another $225 for maybe 10 - 15 work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do your homework before hiring this company. No disclosure of rates. I Did not request a cash deal (no tax). They asked me if I can pay cash and did not provide receipt. Onsite for 40 minutes and used $5.00 in material. $300.00 is extreme!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On the phone they told me $75 for the diagnostic if I don't do the repairs but if I'll do they just charge me the repairs. Finally they wanted to charge me for diagnostic and the repairs. I had to fight and argue with them. I do not recommend this store at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rude and disrespectful owner. Insisted I could not change a vacuum handle on my own and then proceeded to charge me $130. I would rather drive 30 minutes out of the way than return to visit this place just to be disrespected by an angry little man.
