★ ★ ★ ★ ★ MPI is the location where officers are checking the driving rules. But, they don't have sign of enter and exit from the parking location doing rest of the test is so far. Parallel parking site curve is not clean covered with snow. How can the new person know there is bump or no. The finish first before start. Waiting for next appointment is really heartbreaking. This location makes to think is i am really a new driver. Even, I do have license from other province too. Gateway location seems good with lot of space. Moreover, locations are less as compared to need of the road test.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moved to Manitoba in August. I can’t find the words to describe how awful MPI is. Both this location and the one on Gateway are effectively useless. Everyone in both buildings clearly hate their jobs. They openly comment on how busy it is constantly with what appears to be the intent of getting you to leave so they don’t have to do their jobs.
I have insured vehicles in 3 provinces and 1 territory in Canada without issue and yet here in Manitoba it’s impossible. There is literally an excuse for any document you provide from another province or territory. My most recent visit I provided 2 abstracts from 2 provinces and a claim letter from my insurance company for the last 5 years to lower my insurance rates (because in Manitoba you are given the worst rates to start) and I was told that none of them were acceptable despite these being the only documents these governments and companies offer. I offered contact details with every agency for verification but was refused because that would mean they would have to do some work.
If this were a business, it would be bankrupt and all their useless employees would be unemployed but you can’t fire the government. 0 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Agent who assisted me seemed like she hated her life and she couldn't wait for me to leave. She wasn't very friendly at all and definitely needs some upgrade on her Customer Service Skills Course. But then again, maybe her life just sucks altogether so I don't wanna hold it against her.
