Mango Thai Restaurant

This is my favourite Thai restaurant! The owner/chef is from Thailand and the food is authentic, fresh and delicious. My favourites are the red curry and mango Thai noodle soup. Oh and the Thai me up roll!!

Got the mild red curry with chicken and Jasmine Rice. Flavors were great, though perhaps a bit sweet. Everything was cooked perfectly, and it was big enough that I have some for leftovers. One thing I wasn't expecting was that it was more like a creamy coconut soup, when I order curry I usually expect there to be more vegetables/meat than curry sauce, or that the curry sauce is a bit thick. Otherwise very satisfied.

Hands down one of the top 3 Thai restaurants I’ve ever eaten in and I love Thai food! The flavors were incredibly easy to taste and nothing was overwhelming, the spice level was perfect on all dishes I ordered! Most notably was the freshness of the cooked vegetables in each dish, crispy/crunchy and cooked just right! I give Mango Thai a 5/5!

Decided to order for pick up after working really hard all day. Was so incredibly worth it. The food was phenomenal and the portion sizes are excellent!! We enjoyed the food so much!! The staff were also very excellent and kind :) Will definitely be coming back again. Thank you!!

They serve Chang beer here! Service is also good - Pad Thai however was a little disappointing but the papaya salad was on point! Went for the third level spice and still not really that spicy.

This Thai restaurant is my favourite. I am there at least once a week for lunch. The food is fresh well-made and beautifully presented. Of all the Thai restaurants I’ve tried this one makes the best red curry I’ve ever eaten as well, the pad Thai is phenomenal. The wait staff is Well trained, respectful and happy. That says a lot about the owners who have set the bar very high. Frank, one of the owners is always there to greet you with a smile while his partner is in the kitchen creating these amazing meals. This is a five star restaurant and I’m very grateful they’re in my neighbourhood so when I’m craving red curry, it’s a five minute drive. Try it you won’t be disappointed !!! Victoria.

Nice takeout packaging. This is the first time I have eaten Pad Thai and it tastes amazing. ============== First visit: The server was very friendly and the environment was great. Had tried more dishes. They offered mango sticky rice at that time, not sure if they still have it or not. ============== More takeout orders: Delicious as always!

I came to this establishment on Sunday January 3, 2022. My New Year’s resolution is to try new ethnic cuisine around the city. I was pleased with my decision to visit Mango Thai. My partner and I came for dinner and dined in. We were surprised that we enjoyed our meals here. We ordered two dishes, and shared them; being two of us. We ordered the Phad Prig Khing and Green curry (both with chicken). Both dishes were phenomenal. I couldn’t stop eating the green beans, they were so delicious and full of flavour. The green beans felt “fresh” and had a crunch/snap when enjoying them. They were a savory and umami treat to have. My partner also enjoyed his Green curry and he said, “it’s the best Thai curry he’s tasted.” I tried it also and it was good, the addition of the coconut milk broth made the rice creamy and nice. Food wise the restaurant is great. Moreover, one thing I found unusual at this restaurant is that the music that plays is RNB/Pop type music. For instance, while we were enjoying our meals, we were listening to Justin Bieber - “Stay” and The Weeknd - “Save Your Tears“. I feel this restaurant should play some Thai music to pair well with the food. I felt as if I was listening to the radio while I ate my meal. This is my only feedback to the restaurant - everything else was great. We had a lovely brunette waitress serve us and under her mask, I could sense she was smiling. She was cheerful and pleasant. It was our first time coming to this restaurant and the server was very well informed on the menu and advised us on the “most popular dishes”. We were not disappointed with her recommendations. Unfortunately, we didn’t get her name because she didn’t have a name tag, however if you do go to this restaurant ask for the brunette lady. She provided us with excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal tonight 5/5 would come back and dine in.
