★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been going here for a few years, but have now switched to Mr Lube Colwood. Kal Tire lied to me regarding the tire pressure sensors by saying it is a legal requirement. Then tried to sell me new ones for my winter tires which would increase the price by $1000 and refused to do the work without it.
Looked it up, it is not illegal, and then went elsewhere. Told this story to others and they laughed and confirmed it isn't illegal. Not a big deal to check the pressure myself for city driving in a small car. I even asked if it was an internal policy or indeed illegal.
Also Kal tire gave my retired mother attitude for no reason on several occasions when she is a loyal customer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needed new tires, booked appointment online, was sent reminders, dropped my vehicle off at 8:30 and picked it up at 9:30. Staff was informative and friendly. Their pricing is great also. First time using this Kal Tire but not the last. Will recommend to friends as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got a flat right before Christmas /my expected due date. Even though they were super busy, Penny and the staff helped repair my tire same - day so that I have a reliable vehicle to get to the hospital.
Amazing service, will recommend to everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ drove in with a burst tire and a dead spare, i was in a sour mood but the manager Jamie was calm and explained why my tires where un-repairable ( not the best news). Jamie then proceeded to give me some options and found me the new tire i needed but unfortunately it was at a different shop so he called the other shop and we worked out that i'd leave the car take the empty rim get them to mount and balance the new tire there and bring it back to install the next day. Jamie even stayed late working this out with me and made sure i wasn't stranded for the evening (what a great guy). The next day i got the tire, brought it back and even though they where busy they managed to squeeze me in to install the tire pretty darn quickly. I am beyond thankful the whole crew is amazing from the techs that installed it to the manager making it happen Thanks again. 5 BIG stars

Cody was very knowledgeable and helpful and even though tires were not in stock was able to get them ordered and installed pretty much to the minute he quoted. Really appreciate the service here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered tires here before for my fleet. Never a problem. This time I was late due to snow and they gave away my appt time and said not today. The lady was nice but guy was very rude. I know it's new years eve but he could gave been nicer. I said I can't leave it I have no ride, as it was only suppose to take a few hours. I left as I can't leave my work van there over the long weekend as it's needed Tuesday.
So basically be there sharp at 9am or your SOL and they give away your spot. I have a fleet if 10 and was sending them in for new tires. Guess they lost that sale. $1400 plus alignment.
Being treated that way is not how I think cal tire expanded to so many franchises. They better rethink their customer service model.
I called another tire place and ordered 2 sets to start and they'll get the rest if my business this season too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in for a patch and was hoping for the best but expecting the worst. I made an appointment and sat and watched. I could see the guy doing the patch was having trouble so it was more than a minor job taking 10 minutes. It took the better part of an hour. Ready to expect a huge bill I was shocked when they gave me a deep discount. I am extremely grateful and will certainly return. Well done Kal tire, your seemingly small gesture has made a huge impression on me. Professional, well run operation with that mom and pop small business attention to customer service. Thank you.
