About Mahogany Medical Clinic
What Is the Primary Care Behavioural Health Service?
The Primary Care Behavioural Health Service can help you when your habits, behaviours, stress, worry, or emotional concerns are interfering with your daily life or overall health. A Social Worker or Registered Nurse trained in the Primary Care Behavioural Health (PCBH) model will work with you and your family doctor to evaluate the mind-body-behaviour
connection and provide brief, solution-focused interventions.
The services provided by the PCBH provider are simply another part of your overall health care and are not specialty mental health. You will be seen in your doctor’s office, and the PCBH provider does not provide traditional psychotherapy.
The PCBH provider has training in the behavioural management of health concerns. Together, the PCBH provider and your family doctor will consider the physical, behavioural, and emotional aspects of your health and work with you to determine a course of action that will work best for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love going to this clinic, they booked all my prenatal appointments in advance. I am so thankful to have had Dr. Premji as my prenatal doctor. She went above and beyond and was very reassuring. I had complications with my pregnancy and she referred me right away. She also followed up with me throughout even if I had been transferred and completed all paperwork for my OB :)!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a patient of Dr.Premji's for approximately 7 years. I cannot express what an incredible doctor and woman she is. She is extremely thorough, always investigates until she finds a diagnosis to help remedy. She is very warm, sincere and will not treat you as just a patient but an actual friend. I never wait long in her waiting room, her clinic is beautiful, clean and offers amazing hours for my hectic schedule. Dr. Premji goes above and beyond a standard doctor, she always follows up with me even if it's 8 pm after putting her baby to sleep. Dr. Premji's staff is outstanding, they always answer the phones and greet you in person with a smile and genuine attitude. Amberly her receptionist went above and beyond to help me book a CT scan that I was rather anxious about, she kept fighting and pushing for me and made it happen with an extremely genuine and compassionate approach. I honestly cannot fully put into words how grateful I am for Dr. Premji and her outstanding staff!

Having Dr. Ma teach and guide me throughout my weight management journey has been life changing. She is a wealth of knowledge, kind, a great supporter and truly takes the time to know and understand you and your needs. She has given me the advice and tools I need for continued success. Not only is she a fantastic doctor, she’s also an absolutely wonderful person! Very, very highly recommend her and this clinic.

During my pregnancy, Dr Premji has been amazing with mine and my little one’s care and patiently answered the many questions that I’ve had. Janet also provided breastfeeding support, advice and was so helpful. My husband and I are so happy and very grateful, and would highly recommend this clinic!

Doctor Premji reached out to me and solved my concerns right away. I was able to get in and be seen and we sorted it out the issue with my daughter’s prescription. I do appreciate her assistance and support. I’m glad everything worked out and that this episode was resolved.

I just had a really bad experience with the clinic. They made me wait for more than 30mins till I decided to leave & the doctor was still not coming. They never acknowledged me that the doctor might be behind her schedule and when I went to complain, the nurse acted a bit defensive and just told me that “emergency happens “. I get it but that’s not the way you treat a patient specially since I have never met this new doctor and she has been very difficult to reach to. I’m also still waiting for a prescription for my daughter who has asthma and this doctor has questioned it before. This assessment was done by her paediatrician and now we are out of one of her inhalers and she’s taking long to approve it or might still be questioning???!! I am just hoping my original doctor comes back from Mat leave so things can be like before otherwise I will consider finding a new one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I truly cannot say enough great things about this clinic as well as the village medical. I saw Dr. Premji for my prenatal care and see Dr. Kope as our family physician. The care my family and myself have received is the absolute best I have ever experienced. Both doctors are extremely caring, compassionate, and empathetic and of course extremely knowledgeable. I could not ask for better doctors in the world. I consistently remind myself of how luckily and blessed we are to have them as our doctors, I truly believe they are the best in the world. Both clinics are beautiful and all of the staff are amazing and friendly! So so so blessed to have such wonderful care!
