★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh Boy was I annoyed when I called today. The phone would ring and ring and ring trying to get through to someone about an existing order. Finally I called a third time and asked that stupid new AI system to speak with the pro desk. This guy named Josh answered the phone and was a super big help. Took care of me quickly and efficiently. Knew exactly what to ask and definitely handled my grumpy BS like a pro. In a matter of 7 minutes he had my order isolated, cheered me up with a good attitude and scheduled a time for pickup. You need more guys like Josh. As a business owner I can tell you we all need more guys like Josh at the pro desk. Thanks Josh!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good collection of stuff and staff is very nice. I was looking for bath tubs and they had many options with nice demo setups. Got a good bath tub. Unfortunately the shower glass door I bought was not available in store and they ordered it from Milton warehouse. It was supposed to arrive in one week. But it never arrived nor anybody called me to keep me updated on its status. I had to call every couple of weeks to find out why it was not arriving. Visited the store a couple times to get update on it and seemed like nobody had clear answer on why it was not arriving. Even when someone told me they would have some manager call me, nobody called me. So after waiting for over two months one final time I inquired about it, as usual got same old answer that order was placed and waiting for shipping, I cancelled this order. So this was an unusually bad experience here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When ordering online and getting an email confirmation saying my order is ready for pick up. I expect my order to be ready for pick up and not be lied to saying it'll take 10 minutes to bring upfront. When it actually took 1 hour because they hadn't even got my order ready and they slowly scramble to pick up my items. Once they finally acquired and brought everything upfront it was completely damaged. I ended up getting everything myself. Utter ineptitude. Home Depot has my business indefinitely, Lowes has sunken to the bottom of the barrel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Lowes Orleans to buy a new hot water tank along with delivery and installation. Sales rep Jeremy was very helpful and directed me to the service counter for delivery and installation services. Young lady got the manager Fabian who explained to me the procedure. He then passed me over to Celine another manager who took the time to draw up the papers along with the price for delivery and installation. They tagged the hot water tank and put it in the back as a sold item and was told I would get a call this week for installation. All members were friendly and polite and if they weren't sure about some information they got someone who could explain it to me. Celine deserves a lot of credit as her shift was ending at 8pm and it took until 840pm to finalize everything. When most people would rush you cause they want to go home she took the time to draw up the papers look up the information and complete the sale. She deserves 5 gold stars. Fabian also deserves credit for handing me off to such a helpful employee. Looking forward to the delivery and installation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's Lowe's. Lots of stuff, some offers, different than that of competitors, same as Rona (which they own so no surprise there. An enormous home and renovation store à l'américaine as expected.
I like it but it's nothing like the specialised knowledge you get by a small town shop.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We needed a new hot water tank for our tenants, in our rental property. This isn't something you do slowly if you like your tenants & want them to be happy. Kathleen & Adele at Lowe's in Innes Rd, Ottawa and Claudio the installer were knowledgeable, professional, kind, fast and responsive when we needed all of those qualities!
We will use Lowe's again when we need help. The products they recommended have been great as well. J.
