Lovely Nails & Spa - Calgary

I've been coming to Lovely Nails for several years. I usually get pedicures, waxing, and brow tinting. I have a feeling that the "bad" reviews on here are bogus, because I've never had ANY of the issues they are referring to in the many times I've been to the shop. All the staff are friendly, polite, and do good work. Prices are competitive, shop is clean, and the massage chairs are oh-so-nice. Ignore the bogus reviews and don't hesitate to try Lovely Nails.

I would give this place two stars. They have a great selection of colours, but didn’t love their attitude. My friend was a couple minutes late and the lady asked if she could get started on my nails because she had another appointment. I asked her if she could just wait five minutes so my friend and I could get started at the same time and she and one of her colleagues just responded with a snarky laugh. With so many options of nail places to go these days, I can confidently say that based on the customer service, I will happily spend my money elsewhere.

I really like this nail place, I have been visiting consistently for about two years for fills and have never had a bad experience. The owner is friendly and remembers everyone. Good selection of colours. Clean. They are fast but the quality is always good, nails never chip or break. Shellac pedicures will last for months.

I've been getting my nails done at Lovely Nails for over 2 years now. Everytime, they deliver quality & prompt service which I can wholeheartedly rely on. All of the estheticians are fantastic at what they do, I never have to request anyone specific because they all provide the same meticulous quality. I very rarely have to go back for a repair, and when I do, they always welcome me back with a smile. Thank you Lovely nails for keeping my fingers looking so beautiful!!

Do not honor appointments made. Take walk in clients and have you wait despite an appointment

I absolutely love coming to Lovely Nails! Nancy the owner is so cheerful and always happy to see me as well as all the other customers that walk in the door. I feel like I am part of her family. Tracy has been doing my nails and pedicures for the last couple of years and she is an absolute perfectionist. She remembers the exact shape and all the details that I find important and always does an excellent job! Just recently I tried their new VolcanoSpa pedicure product. It consist of a fizzy powder dropped into the basin which had a beautiful rose aroma and tingled my feet. Tracy then used the special exfoliation gel followed by a rose scented CBD infused thick cream mask all over my feet and legs and then wrapped them with hot steamy towels. It was absolute heaven. Then she massaged my legs with hot stones and a rose scented cream. Seriously it was one of the best pedicure experiences I’ve had in my entire life! It was worth the extra money. I can’t recommend it enough. There are quite a few different aromas to choose from and they all have the soothing and healing power of CBD! I am a hairdresser and cleanliness is incredibly important to me as I know the standards that our industry is held to. Lovely Nails is incredibly clean, all of their tools are disinfected in the autoclave machine and they use liners on the basins for pedicures. They all have been especially clean and sanitary during Covid. Every customer is respectful and has worn a mask and there is plexiglass up between the pedicure chairs as well as at the manicure desks providing safety for all of the manicurists and the clients All the ladies at Lovely Nails are so friendly and hard-working and I will never go anywhere else!

Excellent Work! I have been going here for almost a year now and I am always satisfied. They are good at what they do. Definitely recommend.
