This a good shop. I go every 3-4 weeks for a haircut and they always do a good job and take their time. They take walk-ins and the wait is usually fast unless you go when it is busy. If you enjoy latino music is always a plus because they got it playing. They are a professional group of young barbers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok honestly I barely write reviews but I was SO impressed by the service I received and my hair cut!! I’m SO picky and no one ever gets my hair right until I met Lida today! Trust me when I say I have tried it ALL.. from $110+ haircuts to super cuts etc .. but no one had gotten it right yet!! I believe the new owner just took over so they’re offering a promo right now. Thank you so much Lida for getting my layers right I’m in love with my hair! I will definitely be coming back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was looking for a place for a walk-in to get my hair washed, trimmed and conditioned. The owner Lida took me on with short notice and did a great job with my hair. She was also friendly and allowed me give her directions because of the texture of my hair.
I enjoyed my time there and will definitely be visiting again.

The prices are so reasonable and to find a place that will take care of you no matter what this is the place to go! The experience is great and Lida really made me feel like I was at home. I love this place and will keep returning! For anyone who wants a great cut or style and some authentic genuine quality and conversation then This is the place to go!! I fully recommend! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great haircut for a good price, and Lida the owner was very nice! ($25 men's regular, but I even got a $16 promotion)
And no, there wasn't a catch. Significantly more attentive job than all the $35 walk-ins I've tried in Calgary, and much better than cheap chains like First Choice.
I think the Calgary haircut market is a bit messed up, with all these $35 walk-ins that seem to get 3 customers per day and do a mediocre job, which I have never understood. I would pay about $20 or $25 in small-town Edson, and my hairdresser would do a great job and always had tons of customers.
I really appreciate Lida's strategy to try to get more customers for a lower price, while keeping up good quality. That's why I'm writing the review - it's a new business, and I hope she has success!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately as is my experience with various hair salons, styling of curly was not impressive. I had hope since the stylist mentioned she had worked with curly hair before but I’m not sure if maybe there was a miscommunication of what style I wanted. The cut itself was fine but the styling was subpar. I had wanted my hair to be roll brush dried and styled and the last place I got that done at did great (picture below), but here it turned out so frizzy and big. I was told on the phone I’d have to pay a small fee for having more hair and I was fine with that but the fee was actually $35, which is not what was implied. In total I paid $30 for the cut and styling and $35 for having thick hair, all to leave the salon with huge frizzy hair which I immediately went home to restyle myself. Again, hair cut was fine and worth $30, but overall experience for the styling I got with my hair type was not worth $75
