Lost Creek opened for business in June 2003 with 5 cottages and today we have 20 cottages with all the modern amenities one would expect of a higher end four season cottage resort. The property that Lost Creek is on was the former Riding Stables started in 1951.
Lost Creek Resort is a very family oriented business hosting several family groups/reunions every summer. We are located on the outside edge of the Waskesiu townsite which does attract families or those who prefer quieter surroundings. Amenities on our property include a large fire pit area – with picnic tables and plenty of chairs to sit around by the fire, including a large yard with lots of open area for kids to play.

And the pans stick a lot.
A bit pricey for just the right thing in decor!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice cabins, nice deck, each has its own bbq and dish washer. 3 bedroom cabins aren’t really 3 bedroom (one bed is in the open loft), shared fireplace for all the cabins and not a lot of outdoor space depending on the cabin

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed there 2 weeks ago. The cabins were ok. They served the purpose. A lot of dead bugs in the bathroom. However management was terrible. A group of us were visiting outside on the deck/lawn at a cabin. No music. No yelling. Just visiting. Due to covid rules we weren’t allowed to go inside as we would be over capacity. The manager came around at 8pm and told us we needed to quiet down. We continued to visit as quietly as we could. 45 minutes later he came by and threatened to kick us all out of the cabins and call the cops on us for drunk driving as he knew we were all drinking and nobody would be able to drive if we were kicked out at the cabins. We reminded him that quiet time was listed for 11pm. Happy to report I will not be staying there again after this experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cabins are very clean and cozy. Access to the ski trails from the resort without driving. I have always enjoyed my stays immensely here.
The only things to improve are that the hot tubs have a lot of chlorine... I definitely would bring an old swimming suit as the chlorine in the hot tubs will take all the colour out and put holes in it. Also beware that the cabin count always means 2 people will have to sleep on the hide a bed and they are quite uncomfortable.
Other than that, this place is amazing and I will definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice quiet location, lots of trees around the cabins. Cabins were in excellent condition! They even had thought of the little things....salt and pepper shakers in the kitchen! Close to townspeople and nature trails. Going back in 2022!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place was clean on our arrival. Abundant supplies of utensils, cutlery, blankets, towels, hand soaps and facial wipes. Community fire pit was the best. The trail began from the site towards Waskesiu lake. That was a good morning walk. The owner was humble and helpful. The horseshoe game was fun. All in all I would definitely recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cabins are pretty nice and a short walk away from waskesui. The owner isn’t very organized and doesn’t really answer the phone. No one really knew what was going on with the booking when we arrived. He also decided to mow the lawn at 1pm right beside us when we were sitting outside enjoying a drink. Moved the Picnic table and everything. Other than the owner, place is good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a four and a half star... Not perfect but the cabins are well equipped and a great place to stay at waskesiu. It is close enough to the main drag to walk and each cabin has a well equipped BBQ. The hot tubs were closed due to covid but didn't take away from the trip at all. The community fire pit is a nice place to relax and meet new people. Cabin were clean and they provide an abundant amount of towels. My family had a great stay!
